I stayed for 3 nights in the Beaufort initially intending to stay only 2 nights but needed to extend my stay which was no problem. the staff were very friendly and helpful overall a very welcoming atmosphere the hotel is decorated to a high standard and is clean and comfortable, the food available is excellent particularly the Highland Breakfast which is superb and very generous. Off street parking is available The Beaufort is about 5 minutes walk to the City centre 8-10 minutes walk to or from the railway station. I had a very nice stay in Inverness thanks to the Beaufort Hotel which was an Oasis of calm and comfort to return to each evening it also has a very comfortable pleasant and well stocked bar for evening drinks. I very much hope to return again soon thank you all.

Room Tip: Ask for room to the rear are the quietest though all rooms are well insulated against noise.

The staff at Beaufort Hotel are so helpful and hospitable you feel obliged to overlook any shortcomings in the hotel itself. Graham, Terry, and Maya (Mia?) went out of their way to please, but there are problems which the hotel needs to address. The walls are paper thin, and we listened (unwillingly) to lengthy conversations in the neighbouring rooms. The telephone in our room was not functioning, which meant we had to make expensive international calls on our mobiles, to make a local restaurant booking. £6.00 each time. The plug in the handbasin did not seal, so shaving was a problem. Wifi is only available in the bar ... Our bed was a wire wove! Shouldn't it be in a museum? Having said all this, we really enjoyed our Inverness experience, and want to thank the staff for trying so hard.

Room Tip: Possibly the newer rooms at the back are quieter, and more sound-proofed.

Read some mixed reviews on TA, but decided to book our Inverness stay at the Beaufort. What a pity we were only staying one night there. We arrive an hour before the check in time, so had a bar lunch while we waited. Simple but superb fare, and very reasonably priced. The tempura prawns with ceasar salad were the best ever. Delightful room to the front, with a small seating area in the bay window and lovely view across the river. Breakfast cooked to order, and well worth the couple of minutes wait. Lovely staff too. Will come back to the Beaufort on future trips to the North.

Room Tip: Try for a front facing room.

Stayed here for one night Check in was quick and easy given a room on the ground floor

Room was very clean the only issue was the lack of hanging space just one pole sticking out of the wall

Food very good with plenty of choice at reasonable prices

location is just at the edge of the town centre so its easy to get about

We have just spent 10 nights at this family run Hotel and it is fantastic. Graham and all the Staff were very friendly, helpful and made sure that we wanted for nothing. We arrived at 8.30 in the evening and were given a choice of rooms. We chose our room our luggage was brought up to us from the reception area. The room was spotlessly clean, as is the Hotel. The food served at breakfast, including, the porridge, and in the evening is superb with a great choice from a very varied menu. The service at breakfast and dinner is outstanding and all done with a very friendly, smiling approach. The bar in the evening is well stocked with local whiskeys and is a very relaxed, friendly and well run place to be. We hired a car for part of our stay and the Hotel's spacious car park is a bonus. We will certainly be returning to the Beaufort and give it the highest reccomendation possible. Thanks to Graham and all his staff for making our holiday in the Highlands a very enjoyable and memorable trip..

Yet again another excellent stay at this hotel. Its in an ideal spot - close to the town center but yet in a nice and peaceful area with good private car parking. Always an excellent meal to be had no matter what time of the day. Staff & management couldn't be more helpful to make you feel welcome.

We had a 3 night stay at the Beaufort in April. The manager went over and above the call of duty. It was an Easter weekend & was very very busy. He helped us in every possibly way with a great sense of humour as we had quite a lot of luggage. The service by all the staff was terrific in the restaurant & bar. All very happy & helpful and worked as a team, which comes from good management. We would certainly be happy to recommend the family owned Beaufort to anyone. A great boutique hotel. Thanks for a great time it made our stay in Inverness great fun.

Room Tip: We had a large room in the front of the hotel & found it very comfortable & didn't get b...
