Very good location to explore Inverness by foot, close to shops and restaurants. Loch ness is only a short drive.
Elizabeth and John are really nice people to talk with and of course to host their guests. Really enjoyed our stay!

Arrived as a stranger , left as a friend , that was my impression after a short stay at Ardconnel House . Elizabeth and John are most welcoming and informative hosts with a lovely comfortable home . Guests who partake of breakfast may meet Sue , efficient and likeable , if a bit of banter is your thing then it's ' game on '. Ardconnel House is very convenient for visitors and is certainly worthy of its high Trip Advisor rating , I look forward to a return visit .

I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at Ardconnel House. I had just completed the West Highland Way and had, regretfully, only one day to explore Inverness. The location is very close to the train & bus station, within easy walking distance for dining and shopping but on a quiet street. The bedroom was small but very comfortable and with all amenities, and there is a delightful study that is open for guest use. Breakfast was wonderful. John and Elizabeth are gracious and welcoming hosts; they were able to accomodate my early arrival, and allowed me to leave my luggage with them until my afternoon train the next day, so that I had more time to explore!

Our son was on a journey from Doncaster to Thurso to join his training vessel and overnighted here at Ardconnel House.
He had a single room that was a good size and a very comfortable bed. The bathroom was as big as his room! It had a bath AND a separate shower which impressed him. He was up early to catch his connection from Inverness to Thurso at 7am and was delighted to find a packed breakfast of croissant and jim, a sandwich, drink and fruit had been prepared for him for the journey, a lovely surprise.
The Ardconnel is an excellent B&B, clean, warm and welcoming. It is close to the train station and centre of Inverness and has impressed with kind owners. Well worth a visit.!

Ardconnel House is well situated, a quick walk to town, but on a quiet, mostly residential street. We found parking close, just around the corner. The hosts were very accommodating and filled with helpful information. Breakfast was delicious, the rooms comfortable. Highly recommended.

We chose this B&B based on the excellent TripAdvisor reviews, which did indeed prove to be spot on! We were visiting Inverness to take a look at the Uni campuses there, as my daughter will start her degree there in September. Firstly, the B&B was minutes from the Midmills campus, which was perfect for us. Steps at the bottom of the street lead you right down into the town centre. John & Elizabeth are the ultimate in perfect hosts - other hoteliers/B&B owners could learn a great deal from them. Nothing is too much trouble. What a lovely couple. We had 2 rooms and they were both lovely - my daughter's single room had a separate bathroom just a step across the hall for her sole use - beautiful. Breakfast in the morning was served by Elizabeth - she really is a delightful person - and couldn't have been more delicious. A perfect B&B in every possible way - we will be back! Thank you x
