We ( a group canoeing the Caledonian ) had a major incident in the water stumbled upon this gem of a site.. we made shore on there beech.. They understood our problem and bent over backwards to help, this even included helping to dry our wet clothes... Once the tents were set up we all realised what a dime off a location this is.. fantastic views, fantastic staff, one of the best shower facilities I have ever seen. .! We were advised were the local pub was... take the scenic route via the water falls - it won't disappoint.. The local pub served real home cooked food which was amazing, all the locals are friendly and happy to tell a tale or to about the area.. will I visit again..? YES.. this site has been planned into next year's kayaking.. can't wait to return.. thanks to Donald and Lyn for assisting and making our stay welcome.
