Description: Since it opened in 2002, Rocpool Restaurant ha become an effervescent Inverness brasserie with a loyal fan base. A cool contemporary decor with lots of bare wood and bold colours give a buzzy vibe to the restaurant which is situated in a prime site on the banks of the River Ness. The kitchen has a repotoire of eclectic modern dishes which use Scotland's matchless produce sprinkled with Mediterranean sunshine, plus a pinch of exotic spice here and there.

“Seafood with style and flare”
Reviewed 17 July 2014

Don't be fooled by the looks and the position - Rocpool is a GEM. Their seafood chowder is sensational. Don't forget to try the scallops and the seafood linguini. Well worth a try especially when you finish with the berries pavlova.

“Great Value Lunch”
Reviewed 16 July 2014

We had a very enjoyable lunch for the bargain price of £14.95 for 2 courses. This is such a good deal, the food at the Rocpool is always good and its a very nice place to be with efficient pleasant and service. Inverness has many good restaurants but the Rocpool is one of the best.

“Good Food, Great Evening.”
Reviewed 15 July 2014

Arrived in Inverness and looked all over town for a place to eat that was busy and filled with people. Found Rocopool fully of people and menu looked great. Had to wait as we did not have a reservation, but well worth the wait. Food was very tasty, service was good and the scotch was great. Very knowledgeable about the scotch. Enjoyed immensely and well worth the wait.

“Paris in the Highlands”
Reviewed 13 July 2014

Innovative menu, understated elegant surroundings, excellent value. The wait staff are attentive to every need. The chef is a master at presentation, unexpected pairings and perfectly prepared meals. Not one, but two amuse bouche and an extensive wine list completed the experience.
