“A great place to stay in Fort William”
Reviewed 22 July 2013

My husband and I stayed at 6 Caberfeidh for 2 nights and couldn't have been more pleased at the experience there. The room with the 4-poster bed was awesome and we were surprised at how quiet it was considering that it was right in front of the house. As others have said, the breakfasts are very hearty and the whole place is comfortable. The highlight for us was Wilma and Jim. Besides being gracious hosts, they really helped us out of a bind when we ran into some trouble. Jim made it his problem, too, and worked to help us resolve it. Beyond the call of duty.

Having stayed at this comfortable B&B on a previous occasion, we were visiting the area again and did not look for any alternative accomodation. We arrived and had a nice chat to Wilma who showed us to our room. Parking is right outside with a complimentary permit which is ideal. Jim is a nice guy who is willing to provide a wealth of local knowledge. Very clean B&B with a really good breakfast ( best cup of tea on our tour ). A re-visit is on the cards. Thanks to both of you.

Jim and Wilma are the perfect hosts. We stay with them every time we walk the West Highland Way and they could'nt make us feel more at home. The accommodation is spotlessly clean and breakfast is a great massive portion that sets you on your way for the day. They don't have a swimming pool or a fitness centre yet but we'll be back with them next year anyway!!!

After walking the WHW for the third time, my wife and I decided to spend one more night in Fort William and having previously stayed at 6 Caberfeidh on two occasions in the past, we booked again as I knew we would not be disappointed. This B & B is ideally situated about 100 metres from the town centre and Jim and Wilma are the most friendly and charming hosts that you could care to meet anywhere. We were given the warmest of welcomes and were alloted the most beautiful of rooms with a four poster bed, TV, tea and coffee available and a large modern ensuite shower. Our full Scottish breakfast next morning was delicious and more than substantial. I cannot fault this B & B in any way, and we will certainly use again whenever we are in this area, and would certainly recommend to anyone looking for accomodation in Fort William.
Finally, to Jim and Wilma. "Keep up the good work, you certainly know your business in keeping your guests happy. Hope to see you sometime in the future"

We had a really enjoyable stay at 6 Caperfeidh after a tough day's climbing Ben Nevis. Shower was excellent and room was very comfortable and warm. Lovely hosts and excellent breakfast in the morning. 5 minute walk to the main street. Would recommend.

Arrived late on a Tuesday evening and Wilma and Jim welcomed us as if it was noon.
Accommodation was extremely clean and well maintained and was ideal for us to bed down of an evening and to have breakfast in the morning.
Wilma was lovely and chatty whilst cooking breakfast and often asked if we fancied anything different for the next day. Jim is a local cabbie and a source of knowledge and would always give you a card so you could ring him if you we're stuck anywhere.
Thank you Wilma and Jim for making our first experience to Fort William such an enjoyable and memorable experience
Good luck for this season and many more to come ;)

the service and hospitallity from Wilma & Jim is great, we loved our stay there. breakfast is also excellent as you can choose it on the day before. also Jim is a taxie driver so if you don't have a car you can go anywhere you want.
