Stayed here for one night as a stopover on our first night of a trip round Scotland. Despite what we'd heard about Fort William being the Blackpool of Scotland, we thought it was nothing of the sort (coming from Blackpool ourselves, no disrespect to our town). The B&B is very good and Wilma and Jim were exceedingly friendly and helpful. The breakfast was fantastic with plenty of choice and good quality food. The room was on the ground floor and was very comfortable and clean. There were one or two downsides however. There is no on-site parking and Wilma kindly provided us with a parking permit for the road. I was a little nervous of this as we have a brand new car and the road outside the B&B is quite narrow and busy for a one-way system. However, it did not cause a problem with the car but, being a very warm night, we had to have the bedroom window open all night and the traffic was noisy. All in all, I would recommend the B&B for anyone stopping off in Fort William for a short trip.
