“Lovely Home and Guest House”

Arrived at Ben Nevis after completing the West Highland Way and stayed for two nights before starting the Great Glen Way. It was a perfect location, very comfortable en-suite double room, and our hostess and host, Janet and Graeme, very very kind and helpful. Breakfast was fantastic! Thank you so much for making our stay in Fort William memorable.

We enjoyed our stay at the Ben Nevis Guest House and its conveniet location to Fort William. It was my husband, step-daughter and my first trip to Scotland and we had wonderful weather and a great location to base our daily excursions from. We had our Scottish breakfast to get us going in the morning and our host, Graham gave us good local tips. Our room was a good size for three adults and clean and well appointed with extra pillows and blankets. Thank you again for your hospitality. Aloha!

This was an excellent Bed and Breakfast for exploring the area around Ft. William and climbing Ben Nevis. It was not far from the Visitor Centre and from Town. Graham was a very helpful and friendly host, and was able to give us a lot of useful tips about the area around and places to eat in. We are planning to go back again and would not like to stay anywhere else.
P.S. The breakfast was fit for a king!

Room Tip: The family room for 4 was much more spacious than we expected, with a double bed and bunk beds big e...

At the end of a successful West Highland Way walk, this was a lovely place to stay. We were given a very warm and friendly welcome at this well kept and managed guest house.
Our double room was clean, a good size and the bed was very comfortable for our 3-night stay.
The breakfast was very good and cooked to order, served in a wonderfully light and modern conservatory.
The hosts know Fort William and the area around it well. They provided very good recommendations for places to go and things to see, and places to eat. There was also a sensible tip about booking the scenic steam train to Mallaig in advance as it's very popular in summer (we managed to get tickets and it was a worthwhile journey).
As we were catching an early train on our day of departure, we were given a plentiful packed lunch in lieu of breakfast and (even though we had said we were going to get a taxi) Graeme offered to give us a lift to the station, which really was a wonderful gesture and really appreciated. It epitomised how much they wanted our stay to be an enjoyable and memorable one.
This is a perfect base at the end of the West Highland Way (one of the first guest houses you'll come to as you enter Fort William) and also for anyone wanting to attempt Ben Nevis. The main town centre is just about 10-15 minutes walk away. And if you're bringing a car there is ample parking space in the driveway area.
We would happily recommend this guest house and happily book again next time we are up that way.

Agree with the other "Excellent"-rated reviewers.

Stayed here for two nights with family in a quad room (one double bed and a bunk bed, and a pull out sofa bed, which we didn't need to use). Very spacious and clean. Our hosts were welcoming, and able to arrange packed breakfast and lunch for us (early start on day 1 to get up Ben Nevis). On the second day, we ate a delicious cooked breakfast (sourced locally) in the light, airy conservatory, though a range of veggie options and fresh fruit are also available.

Good shower and a clean, spacious bathroom; clean, (very) comfortable beds.

Great location - on a quiet road, walking distance to town centre, train station, Ben Nevis visitor's centre (and start of Ben Nevis mountain track) and pubs/bars and restaurants. At the end of the Glen Nevis road (a 10 min drive / 15 min cycle away) is a beautiful walk to the An Steil falls, which is one of teh loveliest short walks (3 miles or so) I've been on.

Would stay here again without hesitation. HIghly recommended.

TIP: book direct with the owners, not via an intermediary website. It's better for the owners (who clearly work extremely hard to maintain such a high standard of accommodation and hospitality), and you get to ask their advice on things to do and see.

Room Tip: The quad room we chose is great value for families, or groups who don't mind sharing. And I thin...

I would highly recommend this guest house to anyone who was trying to determine where to stay in Fort William. The host, Graeme is very welcoming and nothing was a trouble. The guest house was spotlessly clean and extremely comfortable. The rooms were well presented and warm. There were stairs to our room but these were easy to navigate. The bathroom was extremely clean with fluffy towels. There was free wi-fi. There are tea and coffee making facilities in your room but no fridge. This was not a problem for us. Breakfast is served in the light and airy conservatory which overlooks the attractive garden. The selection of food available is very good and the quality of breakfast foods served excellent. On site parking is available. We really enjoyed our brief stay here and would highly recommend this quest house.
