We stayed at Torlinnhe on our way to Skye in April. We were struck by how clean and modern the interior was and had a fab sleep. The bathroom was great, as was our room, and our breakfast was superb! I can't recommend this b&b highly enough!

Thank you Hannabella for your kind review and recommendation. Glad you enjoyed your brief stopover and that you slept well. We hope the weather in Skye was as good as it has been here for the last few weeks (that said it is raining today). Hopefully you will get some time to stay in and around Fort William for a little longer next time you are up this way. We promise we will keep you busy with things to do and to see - just tell what you like to do and we will try to point you in the right direction.

We stayed at Torlinnhe after completing the West Highland Way. We were greeted on our arrival with tea & biscuits in the lounge, a lovely welcome. Our room for three was large, comfortable, spotlessly clean with a beautiful view over Loch Linnhe. Since we were weary from our long walk, Sue very kindly drove us back to Fort William centre for our evening meal. The breakfast next morning was excellent with a good fresh fruit salad and many different breakfast options. I would heartily recommend this guesthouse to anyone staying in Fort William. Thank you!

Thanks for the recommendation DebbieM843! You were very welcome. We are glad you felt relaxed and comfortable in both the lounge and your room. Sometimes I wonder how we actually get any work done. We sneak a coffee break in the guest lounge around 11 each day and it is sometimes awfully hard to pull ourselves away from the view and go off to do what we need to do. Still we always have the incentive that we can do the same tomorrow so we usually manage it in the end! Hope to see you again one day.

I spent two nights in the very comfortable single room in April, while cycling from Connel up the Great Glen and back. Sue made me more than welcome and went over and above the call of duty, lending me a hot water bottle since I couldn't fit mine into my panniers and giving me a lift into the town for dinner, as well as advising me where to eat. The cup of tea and biscuits were very welcome on arrival and the view from the lounge/dining room is very relaxing. My room was spacious and the ensuite beautiful. Everything was spotless and DVD player in the TV was great as I was on my own. Breakfast was delicious, especially the yogurt with granola, and there is a great range on the buffet - far more than none could want but it's very nice to have the choice. I also liked the individual tables in the dining area. I was sorry not to meet Andy and hope the foot is better soon, Andy! Thanks to Sue for making my little escape so restful - and for the chat!

Faultless what more can I say! Great breakfast, great options, I had smoked salmon, scrambled eggs with oatcakes one morning. Then fresh scottish raspberries with local honey & greek yoghurt the next. Very refreshing to see this nice little touch instead of your usual fry up. Very clean & great room size for a B&B. They even offer freshly made tea & coffee on returning after your day in the lounge which is a lovely touch. The owners are very welcoming. It is about 10/15 min walk from the centre but that wasn't really an issue.

What a generous review Robtwed! So glad you enjoyed your stay and we hope to see you again in the future. We try to cater for all tastes at breakfast with a varying mix of fresh fruit, cereals, muesli, croissant, pastries, toast, cheeses, fruit juices and of course a full Scottish breakfast for those that need something hot and substantial to get them going in the mornings. We reckon there is so much to do in the area and you will be so busy enjoying yourself that you definitely need a really good start to the day - just in case you forget lunch. The longer you stay the more things we can find for you to pack your time with. Unless of course, feet up in the lounge with complimentary tea or coffee, is your idea of heaven occasionally - in which case "welcome to paradise"!

Thanks for taking the time and trouble to post a second review liam d. It was a relief to hear that we continued to meet your expectations and that you found your stay peaceful and relaxing once again. We would love to see you again this year if you can make it back to the Outdoor Capital. The hills aren't going anywhere and (hopefully) neither are we!

I stayed at Torlinnhe overnight early in February on a business trip to Ardnamurchan. Wonderful welcome after a long drive, with coffee and biscuits and a view of the loch from the picture window. Room and facilities were as good as any hotel I have stayed in. Room was modern, fresh, spotless and welcoming, and bed very comfy. En-suite shower room looked as if it had never been used before, it was so clean and sparkly. Breakfast next morning was plentiful and superb and I would recommend thisgem of a place to anyone. A truly 10 star experience. - thank you.

Room Tip: All facilities are fabulous.
