We stayed here three nights while sightseeing in the area. The hosts had already e-mailed us to make us feel welcome. It is a house on the outskirts of Fort William, overlooking the loch and mountains. The drive is steep, but we had no trouble parking. The whole house is furnished in a light, modern, comfortable style. We were shown to our room and advised how things worked. The room was large enough to handle our two large suitcases. Wifi came in easily. The bathroom worked well. Everything, upstairs and down, was clean and bright.
The first night there we were surprised by an invitation to a whiskey sampling. My husband went, got to meet the other guests, try some different whiskeys and have a good time. It was nice to meet other guests at breakfast and feel you had friends.
Breakfast was a lovely buffet with food cooked to order. My husband ordered haggis, which he had been wanting to try and liked it a lot. The hostess told him it was made by a company in Edinburgh and she thought it was the best.
The whole experience was wonderful. The rest of the trip we kept thinking how much we had enjoyed Torlinnhe Guest House.
