“Friendly, Encouraging Hosts!”

Stayed at the Guest House as the last stop in tour around NW Scotland. The plan had always been to climb Ben Nevis, but my daughter was apprehensive with the weather not set that fine. But with Diane suggesting that it was a chance in a lifetime, which if not taken would be regretted, we took on the challenge & did it. Without Diane's supportive words it wouldn't have happened.
Friendly service & conversation in a splendid location.
Go & climb.

We received a warm welcome and good travel advice from the hostess as well as a generous and well-cooked breakfast. No complaints.

We used the Aonach Mor House as our base for scaling Ben Nevis and we could not have picked a better place. Just minutes away by car from the start of the walk up the Ben and our hostess,Diane, could not have been more helpful. Nothing was to much trouble. The place is spotless and the breakfast is fantastic with anything you could want to eat. If it was not there we only had to ask and there it was. It made a difficult days walking so much easier knowing that you were coming back to such a welcome. Thanks again Diane from a group of very grateful Geordie hikers. We will be back.

This was our second stay and hopefully won't be our last. Great base for mountain biking trails in the area and sea/lock kayaking,(with Rockhoppers based at Fort William). Feels like our second home with Diane as a great host.

we visit aonach mor house once a year and its starting to feel like a second home. diane the owner makes you very welcome and cant do enough to make your stay special. the location is perfect for mountain biking and hill walking. the nevis range is about 10 mins cycle ride away and you can ride the witches trail straight out of the door. the rooms are very comfortable and the full scottish breakfast is just what you need before a big day out on the hills. this is a great place to stay and the views of ben nevis are stunning.

This was my 2nd stay here and if I could go back every month I would. From our arrival to departure it is just like staying with friends. Dianne and Jamie make you feel so welcome. The guest house is situated in a perfect location surrounded by stunning scenery and gardens and the house itself is beautiful. The rooms are beautifully decorated with plenty of wardrobe, drawer space. Plenty of tea and coffee and treats in your room everyday. Then theres the breakfasts, oh my word, what can I say. The scrambled eggs are to die for and everything is cooked and presented so beautifully with plenty of toast and juice flowing. It is just a perfect experience from the minut you arrive and you never want to leave. Perfect perfect perfect!!!!
