This B&B is located on the road so if you get a room at the front you can expect some noise. Service is business-like but the ladies who help, rather than the lady I assumed was the owner are bit more chatty. It's a much bigger house than it seems from the road but the room we had was relatively small and it's what you'd expect from an english B&B that's been established for a while - clean, efficient but a bit dated.

That said it was good value and breakfast was nice in a lovely breakfast room at the back of the house.

Room Tip: Goes without saying, rooms at the front of the house are noisier.

Staying with friends, we had 2 double rooms. Both had their own small bathroom with shower. It is a typical country side B&B, with floral wall paper and small rooms. It was perfectly adequate for our needs. It had good value, and we were given a different rate for booking two rooms.

The town of Fort William is quite small with no attractions. It is a good stopping point and you will find lots of B&Bs on the same road. The benefits of Ben View was the parking area, the breakfast, and the staff. After staying in lots of B&Bs through the highlands, we really appreciated the breakfast at this one. They gave more options than others and were always offering to give more.

One of my friends left something behind in the room. We called and informed them. After they searched they immediately called back and held it until we were able to come pick it up.

The hospitality was appreciated.

Room Tip: Front of the house is quite loud, as the B&B is very close to the main road.

Stayed here for two nights on a motorbike road trip with my mates. Very nice b&b in a central location. Rooms are compact but tidy. The only drawback is the same as all the other digs on the A82 & thats the busy road ,but thats life. Decent breakfast and friendly ladies running it. Would return without hesitation.

We stayed in two double rooms. The rooms were small but very clean and nicely decorated. The town itself is very small but a nice stopping point through the highlands.

Breakfast was fantastic. It was the only Guest House/B&B we stayed in that offered cheeses, multiple spreads (peanut butter, etc) and different juices. The ladies who run it were fantastic. I left my journal in the room when we left and they were nice enough to save it for me for when I drove back through Fort William.
