We stayed here for 1 night and loved how Paul and Eileen welcomed us. Nice and clean double bedroom, a delicious breakfast with a large choice of items : we had lovely handmade pancakes ! And we had an awsome evening, talking to our hosts and their relatives + nice German guests : a real sweet memory, one of our best throughout our whole trip around Scotland !

Paul and Aileen made us feel at home rightaway. Breakfast was delicious, and they took very good care of us. The views from the breakfast room are spectacular, and the room was very comfortable. We strongly recommend this place!

Stayed here with my wife. I had forgotten the details of the place and my jaw hit the ground when we got out of the car and looked out over the Loch! Amazing views. We got a warm greeting from Paul in the driveway. He and Eileen were both very friendly and helpful. We had the twin room in the back of the house, which does not have the amazing views of the Loch that rooms in the front have. I appreciated the twin beds as a break from sharing tiny double beds in most of Scotland, my wife did not :) The room is not large but quite comfortable, and we didn't spend much time in the room anyways. The bathroom was fairly small but we found that that is fairly typical in many of the places we stayed in Scotland. The overall impression was a bit like staying in the backroom in someone's house at times rather than a hotel or larger B&B, this will be to some people's liking or not. The Tartan blankets with an explanation of the history of the Tartan where a very nice touch I thought. It is a short walk into town down the set of stairs across the street, the walk home felt longer as a result of beer, gravity, and legs that were tired from hiking that day!

Breakfast in the conservatory was delicious with a good variety of options. We had to share a table with another couple, which was not our first choice (nor theirs) as all four of us were a bit tired from hiking the day before but we ended up having a very nice conversation. If we had had more time I would have liked to have had a beer on the patio out front but we basically collapsed into bed at the end of a long day! Overall I thought it was very good value for the rate we paid.

Tip: Getting up the driveway can be tricky the first time depending on how used to your car you are (this was early in our trip and we are not used to driving on the left!) and the direction of your approach. FYI!

Eileen and Paul go the extra mile to make you feel welcome and to help you make the most of your time in Fort William. Very comfortable and wide variety of choices for breakfast to cater for an international clientele. Short walk to town but a bit hilly. Short cut with lots of steps. But if it wasn't up the hill it wouldn't have such great views! Would recommend. Lorraine and David

Room Tip: All on same level. Room at back (no 4) was lovely with good size en suite. I think all rooms would b...

We stayed as a family (2 adults, 2 children and our dog) at the beginning of July. Nothing was any trouble for Paul or Aileen. The rooms are lovely and comfortable and very clean. The breakfast was awesome and the location perfect for a quiet night's sleep as well as being just 5 minutes walk from the town centre.

I asked my 2 boys what they liked most about their trip and they said 'The people who ran the B&B'. I think that speaks volumes.

Thank you Paul and Aileen for a great stay.
