Rented a 3 bedroom, 2 bathroom Lodge in July. Excellent rooms for 4 adults, large lounge and kitchen well stocked. Views over Caledonian canal and north face of Ben Nevis were amazing, as was the weather! Location for numerous day trips to Fort Augustus, Skye, Plockton, Mallaig, Oban, Mull and Rum was ideal. Frank looked after us very well. I would highly recommend and would certainly return.

Me and my good lady booked the Escape lodge for 7 days from 29th of June. On arrival we were greeted by Frank, a very canny host of the site. I can tell you that first impressions were very good and exceeded expectations. The lodge was spacious, clean and new with all mod cons including en suite facilities with a good shower. The bed was very comfortable! We had a fabulous view of the canal and Ben Nevis. As you know scottish weather is very unpredictable however this didn't stop us from doing anything we wanted - including climbing Ben Nevis, cycling the canal route to Neptune's staircase, going up Aonoch Mor in the cable car, travelling to Mallaig on the Jacobite and walking to the amazing Steall Falls, all of which we highly recommend especially the spectacular scenery in Glen Coe.
Must say the local wildlife kept us amused. We saw plenty of birds of prey and deer in the area.
Fort William centre is twenty minutes drive away (Morrisons, McDonalds, Shops, Pubs etc).
Taxis from the lodges in to Fort William cost around fifteen pounds.
Wouldn't hesitate to come back.

For the first time in many years we chose to holiday in the UK instead of our usual drive to a cottage/gite in France, Spain, Italy, Austria. We always look for properties with character. Small but very well equipped and well furnished with pool and aircon in the hotter destinations. Lochaber Lodges certainly ticks all the boxes as far as well furnished and well equipped. The location is great and the welcome from Frank and Suzy (springer who visited us regularly) could not have been better. Some nice extra touches that we noted, only small, but indicative of the attention to detail. A supply of paper based toilet requisites and the free use of the laundry and dryers. Just a little warning to those who might rely on the advertised free high speed wifi connection. During our week it proved difficult to maintain a workable connection but the use of our mobile phones as a hotspot connection solved this issue for us. Despite this I would heartily recommend these lodges to anyone.

We stayed for 4 nights from 20th - 24th May and had a great time. Our lodge was the Escape model, which is the cheapest one. It was absolutely lovely with everything you could possibly need and more.
We had an issue with the bed but when we mentioned it to Frank he went immediately and bought a lovely mattress topper which solved the problem.
We were able to watch calves chasing deer in the fields next to the park and hear the cuckoo every evening, quite rare nowadays.
The park is about 5 miles off the main road, on the edge of the Caledonion Canal, so perfect for an away from it all break. We had a lovely time and would recommend it without hesitation.
Frank is excellent, very helpful and a great source of local information. We will most definately be back. Thank you Frank.

Room Tip: All the lodges are different, but the quality is exceptional in all of them.

We've recently spent a week in a Monarch Duo lodge.
We were the only people on the park, so it was really peacfull and the perfect place for a quiet break away from it all. The lodge was lovely - full of everything we needed, and had the most beautiful views of the Nevis range and the canal. We also had many birds visiting the lodge, and a few deer on the dry evenings.
There are plenty of nice walks from the lodges, and Fort William is a short drive away.
Frank couldn't have been more helpful, and we would definitely recomend Lochaber Lodges!
