Arrived at Burnlea in the sunshine , proprietor on the drive talking to one guest , parking very tight as lines were painted on the drive . Felt it was strange that the proprietor saw us arrive but did not stay outside to welcome us. Mistakenly we went into Burnlea via side door ! ( unclear what entrance to use) my partner was ushered round to the front in a prickly manor . Once in the foyer we were greeted and introduced , led to our room but by then we were a little put off and disgruntled . All changed once entering our room which was lovely , amazing views, comfortable and clean .
Over all our stay was a comfortable one , our hosts were pleasant and helpful the Breakfasts were amazing, shame we had to eat in the foyer which was surrounded by frosted glass the room was quite dark even with the lights switched on.
A dinning room with views over the Loch would have made all the difference . A few minor adjustments would make this a B&B you would return to .
