Booked online through easy breaks stayed Sat and Sun on a half board basis, lots of good points the room was clean and tidy decor was fresh and reasonably new and not tired looking. The meals were good with loads of choice, you could choose from any of the resteraunt or bar menu's. The rooms were warm and the staff were pleasant and extremely helpful. Would have given it an excellent if not for the not so good, there is no lift, limited parking and the internet connection was a bit erratic, but overall it was an enjoyable weekend because it was a nice place with friendly staff and I would book here again.

Room Tip: Try to get a room at the front of the hotel with the loch views.

The most vacant receptionist/duty manager in the world. Very pleasant, but useless.
Booked meeting room weeks in advance as good facilities advertised on website - no facilities, got to the hotel and room booked was...the public bar! Closed for our meeting though, thankfully. Had organised a video player, flipboards and different coloured markers with the receptionist. Again, got there and he hadn't sourced video or markers. Bar very cold so they gave us a wee heater. Asked for a couple more heaters...had to leave meeting a further 3 times to ask where they were, and if I should go and get them myself. Receptionist was too busy sitting down and chatting to get them. Eventually a heater was brought in. Bar was meant to be open until 11pm. We got back at 9:30/10pm- no receptionist and bar closed. Receptionist had gone out for a walk! Also, no hot water in several of the rooms, some with no hot water from the taps and others with no hot water in the shower either. Oh, and very limited parking - not stated on website, and no overnight parking in car park across the road from hotel.

Room Tip: Request one with hot water!!

Stayed for one night in January on a visit to friends. On arrival we were greeted by a friendly receptionist who showed us to our room due to not being able to get a key straight away. For the discounted price we paid the room was surprisingly nice and the bed very comfy. The bathroom was nice and big with plenty of hot water.
We ate in the bar and the food was fine if a little pricey .
Overall a pleasant stay and breakfast was included which was very nice.

This hotel is perfect for a weekend break away. Very clean rooms and helpful staff. Stayed for two nights in room 11, perfect (a little cozy!) Breakfast was okay, couldn't fault it. The free internet connection was hard to connect too. Would stay here again.
