5 of us went to the Ceilidh show on a Thursday night and we were the only ones in the audience apart from another couple. The place was dimly lit but atmospheric and the staff were friendly. It must have been quite daunting for the musicians but they were soon demonstrating their considerable skills and had our feet tapping. Our participation didn't end there as they also had us singing and also up dancing first to a barn dance and then one of the best dances I have ever done, The Flying Scotsman, which invloved some simple steps and a lot of train noises.
There were 4 musicians plus a Highland dancer and they were all excellent.
This event is a must do to get the full Scottish experience but take a camera to capture the action. We bought a CD from the venue and had our own Ceilidh on the M6 while we headed back down to Morecambe
