Stayed here one night and was very impressed with friendly, helpful staff. The modern room was spotless as was the bathroom. We ate in the restaurant for both dinner and breakfast and enjoyed the food which was beautifully presented. If I am in the area again I would not hesitate to return to this property.

This hotel is on the main Inverness road a few hundred yards from the railway station and town centre, so rooms at the back are quieter (apart from the Council bin lorry at 6.30am on Mondays!).

Staff were friendly and our room was fine, though the walls were rather thin and the floor creaky. Fortunately everything went quiet in the hotel after 10pm.

The best part of the establishment was the restaurant. Breakfast was excellent in every way, and we also had our evening meal here, which was very good indeed, both as to food and service. It seemed popular, so best to book for the evening.

Just back from a lovely stay in Fort William and have to say this is the best hotel we have stayed in Fort William ! Hotel is very close to town centre within an easy stroll 5-10 min. On walking into the reception we were very impressed with the clean modern look of this place. We were greeted by the very friendly Eilidh who took care of us showing us to our room and letting us know she was there if we needed anything. We were very impressed with the room yes not massive but was spotless well decorated with a very up to date en suite. Wifi is free in the hotel and no matter where we were in the hotel we had a good reception which was a bonus as a lot of the hotels we have stayed the wifi only works in certain areas. We popped into the bar for a couple of drinks before going out for dinner and again a lovely comfy area, attached to the side of the restaraunt where we will be trying next time ! Breakfast was another treat with lots of choices from the fresh fruit to dried fruit, cereals, little pots of jam, marmalade and honey plus the hot cooked breakfasts with dif choices ! I had the cooked and it was delicious while the wife had the scrambled egg and smoked salmon which she said was also lovely :-) I must add the girls in the breakfast room were first class looked after us well and were very professional in their manner. Can highly recommend the Nevis Bank Inn and when back in the area will definitely be staying there !!!

We stayed here for two nights to go on the Jacobite Steam Train. The location of the hotel was great, and it was only a 10 minute walk to the train station. The staff was friendly and helpful, and the rooms were ok in size. The hotel was clean and there was free wifi. The hotel didn't have a lift, so we had to carry our luggage up the stairs. Breakfast was good, with both continental breakfast and a menu with a selection of hot food to order.

We walked up to this hotel and it really doesn't look like much from the front, but it truly was a nice surprise. The rooms were clean and comfy. The resturant in the hotel had amazing food. We ate dinner and breakfast there. I wish we could have stayed more than one night! We decided to stay over one night to catch the Jacobite Express to Mallaig. One could actually walk to the train station, but we had younger kids and quite a few bags, so the hotel called a cab for us. A+ Overall

We reserved two suites at this hotel. The suites were the perfect size. The breakfast was fantastic including quick contintental items to grab as well as a small menu of cooked to order items. The eggs benedict was delicious. They were also kind enough to scramble an egg and pair it with bacon which was not a menu offering. The hotel is easy to access off a major round-about (rotary) we had a large vehicle and the staff found us a parking place that was very convenient. They assisted with luggage as they escorted us to our rooms (no elevator). I would stay at this hotel again.

We stayed here whilst travelling between Loch Lomond and the Isle of Skye. The room, though not large, was immaculately clean with a modern, sparkling en suite bathroom (even the shower screen had been polished"). The staff were friendly and helpful with routes and advice on the area etc. Attached to the hotel is Browns Restaurant where breakfast and evening meals are served if required. The food was of a good standard and reasonably priced. Ideal location for those wishing to climb/see Ben Nevis.
