“Excellent Value”
Reviewed 22 June 2014

This restaurant really is excellent value, especially for families. Early Bird specials are ridiculously inexpensive - 2 meals for £10 and 2 sweets for £5. The normal menu is also good value and we thoroughly enjoyed the dishes we selected. Not posh but perfectly OK. Despite being busy the staff were friendly and efficient. Would visit again if in the area. It is situated next the the Premier Inn and close to the Town Centre Shops and Station.

“Good but room for improvement ”
Reviewed 14 June 2014 via mobile

We were looking for a nice affordable restaurant during a short break camping near fort william and this place seemed to tick all the boxes, being fans of weatherspoons brewers fayre seemed right up our alley and it had good and bad points in equal measure. Good points were that the price was reasonable for the food we got, we got the lentil soup for starters which was absolutely delicious and the spinach & ricotta lasagna as well as macaroni was large portions that tasted beautiful. So the good was excellent and the price was really good. Our waiter was also very good and really friendly, all the staff seemed very nice and helpful. The bad points which didn't ruin the experience just dulled it a little were: the queue at the till to order was quite long and it took the staff quite a bit of time to process each order, wish they had more tills open or waiters taking orders at tables. The buffet deals seemed great if we weren't vegetarians but we are and all the buffet deals throughout the week were completely useless for us. This was our first time at a brewers fayre and we didn't know about the drinks refill deal, sadly the staff didn't tell us about it and we noticed after I had ordered and paid, I asked if we could add it on but was told it had to be done at time of ordering so we ended up paying more for extra drinks when we didn't have to, they really should tell you about this offer at time of ordering, especially when you order soft drinks. Apart from that in would recommend this place but could do with areas being improved.

“Ideal treats and value”
Reviewed 11 June 2014

Eat early and you can have two main meals for £10 which is a bargain, but add to this, whatever time of the day you visit, you can be assured of pleasant surroundings, polite and helpful staff, good service and a good quality as well as tasty food. It would seem silly not to eat here when in the area, which we always do.

“Not happy this time!!”
Reviewed 11 June 2014 via mobile

Come here quite often and usually leave feeling happy!! kids never finished their pasta as it tasted funny...happened once before (I tried it and it did have a weird taste!!) last time we sent kids tomato pasta back as it was pretty much like cooked pasta and a tasteless tin of chopped tomato had been mixed through it. I had tikka and was nice, should be a choice of adding on extra poppadoms though! My pudding on other hand ruined the dinner though, had lemon meringue pie (which I've had in there before,) was completely tasteless and far too runny, even the meringue wasn't the way it should be,it's defo put me off!! Which is a shame as I would always have recommended the place before...our waiter was really nice though,Andrew??

“No complaints”
Reviewed 8 June 2014

Large restaurant and so an easy option when looking for somewhere to eat with young kids in Fort William. Menu was exactly what you'd expect, which was one of the attractions as we were looking for a quick meal rather than five star dining. Staff were extremely friendly/helpful on both of our visits.
