Booked this hotel over the internet with a special deal - wine, flowers, fruit, chocolate, nuts etc. complementary in the room on a b&b basis for 2 - £114. This hotel is across the road from the railway station - ideal location for us to catch the Fort william to Mallaig Jacobite train the following day (Go on this train on a quiet train - it is a great trip)
Room was good, roomy bathroom, dressing gowns, slippers etc. But view was internal onto a roof space full of A/C units. This was ok for a one night stay - but for longer stays I would have asked for a room with a view over the habour.
Hotel caters for the coach tour brigade (crowded basic breakfast) and evening "entertainment" that may not be everyones choice.
Pleasant staff and comfortable seating area in the lounge to polish off a couple of G&Ts made the day.
