We have just returned from a long awaited trip to the Highland Hotel and it was well worth the wait. The hotel was a delight with beautiful decor and wonderful views across the mountains and loch The staff were plentiful, courteous welcoming and helpful. Our room was clean and well maintained. The meals were varied and of a high standard served by excellent and most pleasant waiting staff. Our coach driver Sue Edwards was both skilled and friendly and looked after us very well and is a credit to lochs and glens. The excursions were very interesting and we enjoyed some lovely scenery. We will return and would recommend this holiday to anyone. Many thanks to you all

Room Tip: Try and get a room overlooking the loch and mountains

booking an holiday with locks and glens, was amazing. yes it might be a long time to get there, but it well worth it. to start with our driver peter, was a star so locks and glens should give him a pat on the back he was ace from the start and he made this holiday special. we had plenty of breaks on the way when we arrived there we was told to stay on the coach as one of the staff would greet us and our cards would be given with all information room number, meal times ect . our cases would be taken to our rooms for us. with in no time our cases was at our room the staff was amazing helpful, and went out their way to make our stay so enjoyable .one night what was on the menu, I could not eat due to a medical problem I have when I explained this the waitress went all out and got me something else , she told me the next day to look on the menu and if there was nothing I could eat due to my health,+ the next day I looked yes there was pork chicken salmon and yes as you read this you might think what a funny person I am but all these I can not eat , I went to receptions and told them I ordered a cheese salad and it was megger nice the entertainment was good at night the rooms was very clean beds was good the trips with locks and glens was ace, so thanks again peter and on the day we left the hotel we was told to put our cases out side our rooms the potters came and took our cases to the bus all in all an amazing holiday thank you locks and glens

Room Tip: a room with a view on a high floor so you can see the locks

We have just come back from here on a lochs and glens late rooms self drive. The hotel is very impressive with a lovely sitting room with log fires. The rooms are very well presented and very clean. As a lot of people that use this hotel are in the older age bracket the food is very traditional but it's is very well cooked, tasty and enjoyable with a good selection of the three courses. Breakfast is also very good. Staff are very pleasant and efficient. One tip is to take your own coffee and tea bags for in your room as theirs is awful. We have had a lovely good value break and would recommend it to anybody who wants a good touring base.

Another great few days away with Lochs & Glens Holidays. We done Self drive. This company is great value and this is 2nd time we have used them. We went to this hotel just over 10 years ago when it was owned by someone else and it was badly needing done up - Lochs & Glens have done it up and restored it well and it is lovely..glad they kept the original décor in main hotel. All the staff that is employed by Lochs & Glens are all very pleasant and very helpful. They work well together and always on the go. We had a nice surprise as we got a view from our room which is really nice overlooking Loch Linne. Room was spotless. Will try their other hotels next year. Hotel is only 5 mins walk into town and the new Wotherspoon Restaurant is a good place for a feed. Definitely recommend this hotel.

Room Tip: If you want a view ask for front of hotel. Is a bit of a climb if you are not very fit!!
