Just returned from another holiday with Lochs and Glens. The staff were very friendly and helpful and the whole holiday was very good in spite of the weather. The journey was not as frightful as it could have been.

Room Tip: Our room was in the old part of the hotel. Those in the new part seemed quite happy with their rooms.

Just returned from a week at the Highland Hotel. A lovely hotel overlooking Fort William. The staff in this hotel are so friendly and the manager David is really hands on and can be seen working with all the staff when needed in any capacity. The food was good. Our room was in the annexe to the hotel and very comfortable but the floorboards were very creaky and l felt sorry for the people occupying the room below. There was entertainment each evening which l did not attend preferring to have a drink in the lounge area but those who were attending seemed to be enjoying themselves. Would definitely stay here again if staying in the area.

The holiday was very good value. The cost was £438 and for eight days. The food was excellent and there was plenty of choice. All the sightseeing tours were included and there was a achance of two extra tours which only totaled £11.The staff are very friendly and helpfull.

After staying here 4 years ago we decided to return for another 6 day self drive holiday and it was excellent just as I expected. The staff are very nice and will go out of their way to help you and make your stay as pleasant and comfortable as possible. There are plenty of parking spaces on site. Our twin room was again in the new part of the hotel at the back which is quieter and the room had a nice bathroom with walk in shower, lots of storage space and a decent TV to watch in the evening as the entertainment provided by the hotel is more suited to the older coach trippers. The room was also very clean and plenty of fresh towels were provided every day. Meal times can be chosen to work alongside the coach trippers as they depart and return at various times so we chose 8am breakfast and 8pm dinner. The breakfast choice should suit everyone with the cooked option my favourite with lots of toast, cereal, fruit juices and coffee it is very filling and a great start to the day. 3 course evening meals are mainly traditional Scottish dishes but not just. The homemade lasagne and the venison sausage casserole were very tasty as was the haggis neeps and tatties. The soups were all delicious as were the deserts and all the dining room staff were very nice people who work very hard to make sure that everything is to your satisfaction. The walk back up to the hotel from Fort William town centre is very steep but apart from that I can't fault the place at all and look forward to returning again soon.
