“Loch Leven Chalets.....cant be beaten !!”
Reviewed 17 July 2014

Returned again for our 5th time.....that says it all really, we go back because of how good this place is.
The setting is idyllic, absolutely beautiful. Ian and Sharon are wonderful and do everything possible to make sure your stay is the best it can be.
The chalets are well equipped, very clean and spacious. There are also chalets in which you can take your Dog, Elsa just loves it.
Cant recommend it highly enough, if you're going to Scotland this is the place to stay, simply wonderful.

Just back from another fantastic visit to the Chalets. My husband, myself and our two sons aged 10 and 7 always enjoy staying here. Ian and Sharon offer a really warm welcome. We stayed in Seal Chalet which was extremely clean, and very homely. The Veranda was our favourite place to sit out on at night and enjoy the magnificent views and so peaceful. Plenty of room outside for the boys to run around safely and explore. The lochside across the road was great for the boys to explore with us, they also enjoyed a paddle in it too! We cannot fault anything about our stay. Great accommodation, in the heart of the most amazing scenery you will find. It would be very hard to find a place half as good as this!

we have been staying here for the last five day's and just had to put this review on, the place was absolutly first class, and the owners Sharon and Ian were two of the nicest people you will ever come across, They really made us feel so welcome, and they were such a lovely couple. The chalet was so clean and comfortable, and the views from our chalet were stunning. We would
recommend staying here to anyone. Many thanks once again Sharon and Ian. We look forward to returning. Kind regards from Linda and Charlie.

we had a fantastic week, the accommodation was first class, Sharon and Ian were very friendly and helpful and the area was so wonderful and beautiful, we walked all over the area then back to the Chalet to chill out on the veranda...one of the highlights was seeing a Scottish piper in a car-park in front of the three sisters mountains at Glencoe..... this was our first visit to Scotland BUT it won`t be our last.

Had a wonderful weeks stay 7th - 14 th June ..... stayed in Otter Chalet - very comfortable - well equipped kitchen - comfy beds- had everything that you would need . No improvements needed . Location is fantastic - with views over Loch Leven ...Stunning Views in front of the Pap of Glencoe - We left out strawberry jam and bread for the Pinemarten and finally videoed him in the early hours of the morning ... Ideal base for exploring - local villiage with a amazing fish and chip shop .. Sharon and Ian are a lovely couple and have worked hard over the years to get it just perfect . I will be going back next year and would recommend this little gem to all .........

Room Tip: Pinemartin / Wildcat have the best views of the Loch

This was our first family trip to the Highlands and this place couldn't have been more perfect. We have 2 small children (2 & 4) and this place was perfect. Due to having younger children we were not able to do much walking in the local hills but this place was the perfect base for exploring this beautiful area.

We stayed in the Wildcat chalet and it had everything we needed for our week away. Wildcat sits in an elevated position in the corner of the site and due to its angle to the other chalets and the Loch it has one of the best views down the Loch in our opinion.

Around every corner in this area there is a new stunning view. We had wonderful days out to the Scottish Sea Life Centre and Oban, Fort William and the Nevis Range, Loch Ness but the one I can recommend is catching the train up to Mallaig. You can get either the steam or regular train, regular train is significantly cheaper. Just make sure you sit on the left hand side to get the best views on the journey there. There isn't much to do in Mallaig but you can get on the walk on Ferry and travel over to Skye. we visited the Clan Donald Castle on Skye which is well worth it and is interesting for your and old alike.

The owners Ian and Sharon are lovely and we had Pine Martens on our veranda every night to lap up rounds of bread and jam and grapes! We had so many photos of Pine Martens in the end we stopped taking them! They came anytime from around 8pm until well after we went to bed.

All in all it was a wonderful holiday and an area we will definitely visit in the future and we would not hesitate to stay at these lodges again.

Room Tip: Wildcat chalet is a wonderful setting in the corner of the site but to be honest you won't be di...
