Stayed for 5 days while my son rode in Scottish Pre 65 motorbike trial. The hotel was very comfortable and the staff very attentive to detail. The food was excellent with a good choice on menu for both Breakfast and Evening Meal. Highly recommended.

The bar doesn't open until 6.00pm!! Yes folks you read it right.....the bar doesn't open until 6.00pm. So lets say you check in on time at 2.30pm you will need to wait 3 1/2 hours until you can purchase that well earned pint or a chilled glass of wine. The room was large, comfy and spotless. The bathroom was large and spotless. But the bar doesnt open until 6.00pm. The hotel is spotless and well maintained but quiet and empty like the Marie Celest.....until the bar opens at 6.00pm. The food is very basic. There is obviously not a serious Chef in the kitchen. Deserts consist of things anyone could make eg merangue, fruit and cream, Banana Split, Knickerbocker Glory, ice-cream. It's a disappointment.

p.s a taxi in to Fort William to find a Bar that is open and welcoming and full of customer is £6.40....guess where we went!

Room Tip: Get a taxi to Fort William if you want a drink before 6.00pm

Ladies on reception were absolutely lovely and very accommodating as we called in without pre-booking during a motorbike tour and made sure we had comfortable rooms. The bar service was poor and breakfast restaurant staff didn't manage a smile while serving. This really did let such a beautiful place down.

Room Tip: The front of the hotel offers the best views. Don't be put off by the main road as it is not bo...

My partner and I just spent 2 nights at this hotel and we give it 10 out of 10. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The room was spotless and we had a breathtaking view of Loch Linnhe from our balcony. There was an excellent choice at breakfast and we had an evening meal on both nights of our stay and it was superb. This hotel is a great base for exploring the west coast and would recommend and will definitely return.

Room Tip: Try to get a room with a balcony at the front, the view is stunning

We spent a couple of nights at this hotel, over the Easter weekend. It was a great base for exploring the Fort William/Ben Nevis area. The 3-bedded room was very spacious & clean & the beds were really comfortable. It was a 'pet-friendly' room, but did not smell of dogs.
The breakfasts were hearty, but I did ask for a 'soft' poached egg, and it arrived sold! The bar meal was nice, but we did have to chase down the waitresses for cutlery & condiments.
The views from the hotel rooms are spectacular - with picture windows from the bar & dining areas.
The reception staff were very welcoming, as was the lady behind the bar.

Room Tip: ensure you ask for a loch view
