Yes, some of the decor is a bit dated (as per some other reviews), but the staff were so friendly and helpful. We felt very looked after, even before and after check in: they gave us advice on how to get to places, when best to be at Glenfinnan to see the stream train go over it, ordered us a taxi, letting us use the leisure centre for a shower etc. We stayed for one night, but it felt like a welcoming base for the entire weekend.
Our superior double was completely fine: clean, and with lots of room. Although the TV signal was very poor though: most of the channels didn't work! Breakfast was mostly good: the scrambled eggs were somehow a bit tasteless though.
It is on a bit of a main road a little bit out of the centre, but there is a back way to walk via paths and quieter roads!
Overall, I would recommend. For us, it was a great base for a weekend visit to Fort William.
