I have to say that the staff here were most helpful. Although I did not ask them to change my room to one a) on the ground floor and b) nearer the foyer, they recognised that I had a mobility problem, so their initial allocation of the 1st floor and almost furthest away from the lift (with stairs in-between) was going to be a struggle for me, so I was reallocated to the ground floor room. The inclusion of huge glass dispensers containing various flavoured waters, e.g. with lime and lemon chunks or mint and cucumber slices, in the foyer was a nice touch and I partook. They even allowed a mobility scooter which I had hired to be charged up in the foyer overnight (it was only supposed to have been delivered the next day!). P.I's proximity to the Brewers Fayre (where breakfast was served) was most welcome. They were also running a dinner promotion (caution: this needs to be paid for at reception BEFORE ordering it at the BF) of 2 courses (starter and main or main and dessert) inc. a selected drink for a special price. Also the full breakfast option (can be ordered in advance, say, with your booking) is definitely one to be taken on a really, really empty stomach (to give you enough fuel to run up and down Ben Nevis a no. of times to, er, run all that food off. Both (!) rooms were very clean and tidy and the bed could easily fit two adults plus one child (caution needed here; it's only to give you a sense of scale of the bed size). No air conditioning, but there are fans.
