Stayed at this hotel for two nights due to its location for the Jacobite train. On arrival we were given a room on the ground floor. On entering the room there was an overwhelming smell of exhaust fumes from the cars parked outside the window. The room itself was also poorly maintained, flaking paint in the bathroom, bins that weren't emptied. We returned to reception to request a new room as we didn't want our 10 years old exposed to the fumes, commenting to the receptionist on the smell. Our second room was a slight improvement, but nowhere near what we expect from a premier Inn (we stayed in one less than 10 days previously, from which we can compare). The second room was hot due to no aircon, making sleeping difficult. Also the quality of the room was poor. Mould around the bath and toilet, poor repairs to the shower curtain rail and toilet flush, bathroom fan didn't work, table lamp didn't work, bedside light not secured to the wall, previous occupants toenails in the bathroom, main door strike plate missing from the door frame. Not what you expect when paying £125/night without breakfast.
