The view from the guest house is fantastic. Dora is a very welcoming host. The breakfast is very good but the rooms are better appointed than most hotel rooms. This is a guest house without equal. Nothing was too much trouble.

Beautiful semi detached Victorian Villas with pretty gardens and an incredible view of the water, busy with yachts.

We staid in the adjoining house, which naturally had such character and a nice room with a high ceiling with that view

The bed was comfortable when tested and 'neighbours' friendly (walkers/ hikers always seem to be). But we need food and luckily the town centre is a 5 main dander away!

Slept wonderfully and breakfast downstairs had no set time and was just like a hotel, with staff and many options.

Would love to stay here again in the summer and use the outdoor seating and walk a bit in the hills. Plus Dora is a delight.

Dora was an inspiration. All the staff in property number three were efficient, kind and helpful and accomodating. The rooms were spotless. The view from the window was amazing. The bed was extremely comfortable. There was ample parking spaces. Breakfast was scrumptious.

We found this b&b on google and book in the afternoon for a stay the same day and it is brilliant. The building is lovely and facilities are great. Lovely owner and a great breakfast. Would definitely stay again.

We stayed at Myrtle Bank Guest House for just one night. As we were travelling with our children, Dora gave us the keys for an apartment on the rear of the property. Lots of space, very clean and the bathroom was outstanding. Also the view from the rear to the Loch was amazing. Breakfast was well cooked and very nice. Thank you Dora for letting us stay in that beautiful place. We will sure be back!

Room Tip: Ask for the apartment in the rear ;-)

Stayed one night in the annexe at the rear of the property - Room Number 3. Split level over two floors with large room on ground and smaller room upstairs with en-suite shower room. Immaculately clean and comfortable and very quiet. Breakfast served in the main house in breakfast room with fantastic views over the water. Freshly cooked when ordered and very tasty. Short walk into town. Will definitely return.
