Stayed here with my boyfriend for three nights in July 2013.
The location was lovely just a ten minute walk to fort William centre, and perfect for those who want to climb Ben Nevis.
The rooms were lovely, well decorated and very clean i think if this hotel was placed in London the rooms could have gone for three times the price! .
The breakfast each morning was lovely a nice cold selection of fruit and cereals finished with a very tasty cooked breakfast. And lastly the hosts Lorna and her husband were very accommodating and welcoming. Lorna was very kind and anything we needed she was there for. I would definitely recommend this b&b to friends and family.

Just returned from a two night stay. Really delighted with everything. Very comfortable bedrooms with lovely thoughtful touches. Friendly hosts, complementary umbrellas, and an amazing breakfast. We booked the guest house through Scottish Accommodation Index who found us this lovely guest house at short notice. Really pleased they did because we really enjoyed our stay. Certainly have no hesitation in recommending it to others.

Room Tip: Try and get a room with a view of the loch.

My wife and I booked in to give us a stop-over on a trip to visit friiends in Skye. On arrival we were welsomed by Stewart and shown to our wonderfully large room facing the loch, We had a very comfortable stay with really delicious breakfast in very clean bright surroundings. We had only intended to stay for the one evening, but on the way back home from Skye we decided to stop over in Fort William again, and we were very lucky that Stewart and Lorna had a vacancy. Another enjoyable stay and we left for home feeling that we had found the place we would always return to when in the Fort William area. So, twice was VERY nice but we feel for shure there will be more occasions when we wll want to stay at Buccleuch Guest House.
Thanks Lorna and Stewart, we had a lovely stay and felt we were staying with friends.

Room Tip: We have stayed in 2 different rooms. Number 6 is very roomy, number 9 a bit smaller without the loch view, but both were excellent.

This was our first trip to Scotland, we booked through Authentic Ireland. We received a warm welcome from Lorna upon arrival and found the room to be nice. It was a short beautiful walk along the Loch to the shops and pubs of Fort William. We stayed for one night, May 19th. Breakfast was delicious and plentiful, Lorna was wonderful and Stewart gave great suggestions and direction on things to do. Our stay in Fort William was short, we would love to return and spend more time, would certainly stay with Lorna and Stewart again at Buccleuch Guest House. Enjoyed our stay, thank you.
