“Amazing stay”

Since there were only positive reviews about this B&B, i couldn't resist myself from visiting this place. In the middle of the winter I arrived in this cute cottage near the big Ben Nevis. A friendly woman openend the door for me and showed me my warm and clean room with amazing view over the foggy lake. I got a lot of tips of stuff that I could do in the area that day.

After a great sleep a even nicer breakfast followed :-)
What was really amazing was the map that the host draw for me with a route to the isle of skye with all the hotspots in between. I would really recommend this place to everyone who likes friendly people and cute B&B's

+ friendly, clean, great breakfast
- for once.. Nothing

We spent one night at this lovely guest house on our way to the Western Isles. We were warmly received by Stuart and, as we arrived a little early, we were offerred coffee in the lounge before being shown to a lovely large room overlooking the loch. It was very clean, very well appointed and had a spacious bathroom. Breakfast was served in the conservatory with loch views. There was ample choice and the hot breakfast was well cooked and plentyful.
We would happily recommend this guest house and would certainly stay there on our next visit to Fort William.

We were very happy with our stay at Buccleuch. The house itself is beautiful, very spacious with lovely high ceilings. Our room too was much larger than expected with huge windows overlooking Loch Linnhe (they kindly obliged with our request for a Loch-view room). Breakfast was cooked, delicious and perfect before a day's walking up Ben Nevis. There was also a huge continental spread which you could help yourself too. Couldn't ask for more.

Lovely guest house in great setting, opposite Loch Linnhe. Warm welcome from Lorna and Stuart and shown to great room, spacious, spotless and so comfortable with great view. Only 5 min walk from town centre and ideal base for visiting this lovely part of the country. Breakfast was great with lots to choose from. Will definitely go back, we loved it.

From the friendly welcome through enjoying the comforts of our well appointed room to the excellent breakfasts this ticked all the boxes.
The location is delightful and our room at the side (4) gave us a great nights sleep.
Highly recommended.

Second stay at the Buccleuch. Lorna & Stuart are still as enthusiastic with their welcome and there is plenty of choice at breakfast. Nothing seems to be too much trouble they are very accommodating.Great views over the loch. Loved it

Great B&B alongside Loch Linnhe. Warm welcome from the owners and we were shown to a lovely large and airy room. Bathroom was huge. Breakfast excellent, and I'd really like to thank Stuart for his advice about things to see in the Fort William area and on our way west to Skye. His suggestions of the Neptune's Staircase canal locks, the Monument to the Chieftains ( and the 'Harry Potter' viaduct) at Glenfinnan, and the Commando Monument at Spean Bridge are all well worth visiting. Highly recommended as a touring base for a stay in the Highlands. Everything within reasonable travel. Good meal at the Grog & Gruel in Fort William.
