St Andrew’s Guesthouse was a lovely old school building on the side of a hill in Fort William, just a few minutes walk from the (uninspiring) town centre. Well equipped room and good breakfast. short walk to the train station.

The property is a beautiful old converted choir house, located on the hills above the town. The views across the facing mountains are breathtaking, complementing the splendour of the building and the outstanding hospitality. In summary, we had a very pleasant stay and would thoroughly recommend this B&B.

My husband and I traveled to Fort William to visit the Highlands and to Mountain Bike at Ben Nevis. This bed and breakfast was fantastic. The hosts are extremely knowledgeable and helpful. The house was fabulous and historic. Exactly what we were looking for. We have a Golden Retriever at home and what a welcome to meet Corey. Such a sweet and well mannered dog. Not to mention the breakfast! I highly recommend the Saint Andrews house!

A lovely and historic guest house run by a friendly, welcoming and pleasant family. The rooms were spacious and comfortable and the location was central - only 2 minutes walk to the High Street of Fort William. There was only one problem and that was the smell of the owners dear but aging golden retreiver. The rooms and dining room were mercifully free of his 'wet dog' smell, but the smell pervaded every other area of the house and was a definite 'down side' to our visit. He is obviously a much loved pet, and the doggy smell is hopefully vastly diminished in the summertime.

The whole place smelled awful. I would say it was the dog that seemed to roam freely throughout the premises, it needed a bath!

We had to help ourselves to breakfast as they do not cater for those leaving for Glasgow on the 7:32 am train - the breakfast rooms apparently open at 8am. Although food was provided for us we could not have a cooked meal - cereals only..

The shower area of the room needs to be torn out and cleaned/replaced. The black mould on the ceiling was not a nice look. The skirting boards were also rotting.

Very friendly owners and the cooked breakfast was very nice. The room was a little dated (as was the bathroom), however the house itself is very beautiful and is about a 3 minute walk from the town center. Plenty of private parking available.
