Nice interior, foreign staff quite friendly. Does not open until 5.30, so unable to get a warm drink after long walk to the waterfalls. Dinner not very appetising, but expensive, and no fish and chips, which is crazy for those who love this local and traditional meal. Tried to make it look like cordon bleu, instead of just cooking it properly. Okay if you want just a drink in the evening, but waiting for tables can be a problem as it is situate3d inside a holiday rental/lodge house facility, so quite busy in seasonal times.

We arrived at 9pm with no booking (food stops at 9:30), the place was fairly busy with most other diners almost finishing their meals, we were guided to a corner table were we waited and waited for the so called waiter even to acknowledge us, which did not happen without me having to remind them at the bar that we were there.
After our very poor starters, the waitress asked us if we wanted to see the sweet menu, again after our less than average mains we had to chase the waitress for service. The so called waitresses seemed more concerned with cleaning the place and chatting rather than attending to the customers.
all in all there is no attempt at a reasonable service, the food is bland and overpriced, in my opinion they believe they have a captive market either staying at the hotel or from Bunree Caravan Site adjacent
i suggest that you time the ferry at Corran, last one around 9:30 and free to foot passengers and go to the Inn at Ardour across the water.

We went here while on our holiday on the west coast of Scotland. We both had a lovely meal and it was just what we needed after a long day. We had not booked so had to wait about 30 mins for a table - hardly a hardship having to curl up beside the open fire in the bar with our pack our cards and a pint :-) Our meal was absolutely delicious. This is a very casual place but is busy and the food is good quality. The staff were also very friendly.

Reassuringly friendly response when booking a table. We liked the 'ski resort' feel to this restaurant. Food was good, well priced, nicely served and we wanted for nothing as staff are efficient. (Apart from one chap behind the bar who looked like he'd had a bad night).
Interesting and pleasant decor. Shame there were very few others eating so it was a bit lacking in atmosphere.

Nice pub in a mixed complex of chalets, caravans, and other accommodation. I was staying there and had a meal there. Decent prices for good, imaginative food. Gorgeous desserts!
