“Great Place close to Inverness”

This is one of the best B&B we stayed in during our month long trip in Scotland. The location is in town, but the house is on a park that is on the water. Great views and also great food. You can walk to local restaurnts that have great food. We will stay again when we return, but not just two days, but a week! The owners will do anything for you. They even got us wine glasses so we could have our wine. Jock and Joyce are wonderful.

Room Tip: Ask for the front room that overlooks the water.

Discovered Brighton House after an unscheduled changed in business plans left me needing a bed for the night in Nairn. From the moment Joyce picked up the phone to the moment Jock saw me off the following morning (at 5:30am! - he insisted on getting up to prepare breakfast, which I thought was above and beyond) I felt completely at home. Brighton House itself is wonderful - you can see the care and attention Joyce and Jock have given it, and it's got the most beautiful aspect: I asked for a room with a view to the sea and that's exactly what I got, so I spent the night with the window open and shared the room with the sound and smell of the sea. Wonderful recipe for a great night's sleep. Was sorry to leave, and can't recommend highly enough.

Room Tip: Rooms to the north for a view of the sea!

We spent only one night at Brighton House, and we were very welcomed by the hosts. The room was big, comfortable and bright. And what about the breakfast ! Simply amazing.
The hosts were smily and nice, they looked happy to spend time with their guest.

A nice place to be if you cross Nairn !

This place is wonderful.
The welcome from Jock and Joyce is great and very friendly. We had a lovely view from our room, with a 2 minute walk to the beach for the great views.
Breakfast was amazing for a B&B, salmon on toast!!! Can't argue with that. Plus a full English was on offer too.
Very affordable for such high quality accommodation.
Finally, but most importantly, the bed was amazing. Proper double bed that was the most comfortable night sleep ever.
Definitely stay here.

The Hospitality was excellent. Jock made us a Full Scottish Breakfast that was the best we ever had. Egg, sausage, haggis (I love Haggis), black pudding, mushrooms, tomatoes.....Jock advised us on locations and talked about the culture and ways of the Scottish People. We had the most beautioful days. Sunny and warm. The room was clean and attractive. Jock woke us up with a gentile knock at the door and we were ready to start our day.

Brighton House is delightfully located on the links next to the Moray Firth- just the grass, dunes and beautiful white sand between you and the sea.
The views from the 'rear'(sea view) are quite breathtaking - looking out across the Firth to the Black Isle and remote mountains beyond- which is very evocative. Rooms to the front look onto the secluded walled garden.
A fabulous welcome was extended by both hosts- with Jock and Joyce showing great care in looking after us.
Breakfast was divine - with all meats, fish and eggs being sourced locally. I can vouch for both the full Scottish (tasty sausages, authentic pudding and super fresh poached eggs) and superb smoked haddock topped with softly poached egg and butter sauce drizzling.
The rooms were beautifully and thoughtfully presented to a very high standard. A great nights sleep was had on a supremely comfortable mattress - no doubt assisted by being exposed to the fresh coastal air too.
Will we return and recommend to others? Absolutely and without hesitation. Enjoy!!

Stayed here at last minute with help from Inverness Tourest board, Joyce & Jock, were very welcoming; and invited us back again after our visit. Jock is incharge of the breakfast, & I had the full scottish which was very nice, and the other guest had the poached smoked haddock, with a poached egg, which was lovley.
A short walk from Brighton House B&B, there is small beach, which is lovley and ideal for anyone wanting to study the beach & sea life.
