Owners of North End, Nairn Bed and Breakfast – John and Hazel Wilson are kind, friendly and hospitable persons. Theirs home is located on foot walk from Nairn railway station. I spent there 4 nice nights. It’s a calm, cosy and quiet place with fine hosts. Admirable clean rooms with markworthy furniture are available. You may even find some books for reading in your room.
The house is situated at the corner of the street, close to the wonderful old kirk. If you pass this kirk and walk straight along the street, you reach the big supermarket. If you come to the end of this street and go a bit to the left, you find the sea coast with amazing and gorgeous views to the North Sea and beautiful sand beach. There is a splendid restaurant on the sea coast.
Nairn is a nice town quite near to Inverness. But unlike Inverness, Nairn has a tranquil light atmosphere; marine town, which full of pure air and create a sense of endless expanse and spiritual purity.
Staying here, it’s quite easy to visit sumptuous Cawdor Castle, fatal Culloden battlefield, prehistoric Clava Cairns, mystic Loch Ness and Urquhart Castle.More
