Just have to say what an enjoyable visit we had to Cawdor House in Nairn. Beautiful room, brilliant breakfast and very amiable hosts - 10/10. And, Mairi, many, many thanks for forwarding the scarf we left behind - very much appreciated !

The staff are very very helpful! We arrived suddenly and although it was a very busy night the Lady with the bobbed blonde hair did find us a table. She was very helpful and always smiling :) The food was out of this world and it has been the very first for me ever....I managed to empty my plate!! Definitely be returning again :)

We recently spent a night at the Cawdor House B&B during our tour of Scotland. We had found the House with the help of the local tourist house and were delighted!! We were warmly greeted at the door by our host Paul and shown to our beautiful room upstairs. The room was bright and airy well furnished and tastefully decorated. Our en suite bathroom was very modern. We asked or suggestions re dinner and were able to walk to a very nice restaurant where the service and food were both very good. After a very good night's sleep we were served an excellent gourmet breakfast. I ate scrambled eggs on hot smoked salmon served on a potato scone and it was delicious. I would highly recommend the Cawdor House.

We are glad you enjoyed your stay and that you found Nairn to be such a great destination. I know you were on a course and your husband had to leave on the last two nights, but as you said when you left there was so much to see in the area you will definitely be back. You and your husband will always be welcome in Cawdor House.

Visited Nairn to attend a course, accompanied by my husband. The bedroom we were given as delightful, well decorated and clean with an ensuite shower room. Ideally suited for the town, rail station and as a base for visiting the outlying area. Paul was an amiable host and breakfast was superb, many of the items sourced locally. I would stay here again and hope to return in the near future. Keep up your excellent standards, it was a pleasure to stay here :-)

We thoroughly enjoyed two nights at the Cawdor House B&B. It was home from home with everything a B&B should have. It is positioned perfectly in Nairn, within easy access to a wide variety of resteraunts, shops, pubs and the beach. There was more than adequate parking and is extremely close to the train station.

I stayed at the B&B for two nights, and thought it was very comfortable. I was lucky to be given the Garden Room which is an annexe on the side of the house. It was a lovely big room with a spacious bathroom, and I had it all to myself! The choice for breakfast was very good, and the food was lovely. Paul was very friendly and helpful. The B&B is well situated for visiting the surrounding area. I would recommend investigating the beach at Nairn.

Thank you for your kind review Karen, our garden room is one of the most popular rooms we have and many guests return and specifically ask to book this room again. You have the best of both worlds, your own front door with the added benefit of having access to the main house.

We found this B&B very nice. The garden does have quite a rustic look but you get used to it and the flowers were very nice. The twin room we had was very large, clean and had everything you needed. Breakfast was superb - all great quality ingredients and everything served they way we had asked. The service was quick and efficient and the couple who ran the B&B were very pleasant but not over bearing or intrusive. We would recommend this B&B and would stay again.
