We have just returned from the hotel, having spent New Year there. What a fantastic experience! The room was spacious, clean and warm. The food.......absolutely amazing! The variety and portions were just perfect. The Gala Hogmanay Dinner Dance was excellent. The manager did a great job, keeping the crowd going, and the band was great. We'll be back!

Stayed at this hotel for hubbys birthday. and booked a 4 poster which overlooked the gardens and out to sea.

ACCOMODATION
good sized room nicely decorated with a large bathroom which had a bath and seperate shower. The room was clean and comfortable with a huge bed.

The public areas were ok if a bit sparse.

FOOD

we ate in the conservatory the first night which was average, not great with small portions, we had our 8mth old daughter with us and the staff were great though and warmed her food etc.
The breakfast were better in a huge dining room and again the staff were very attentive, definately a child friendly hotel.

Overall we had a good comfortable stay. the staff were attentive and a good place to take the kiddies.

Enjoyed a three night break in early October, paid extra for a sea view room, room on the third floor.
The downside to the third floor was the single lift in the hotel was out of action for our entire stay and likely to remain off for the remainder of the week. This was a major issue for my disabled wife. This was our only issue other than the wireless router would give no signal, the hotel explained they were going to be changing their provider, my wife escaped me from using my lap top for three whole days!
I have uploaded some images of the room which although a bit dated was very clean, lots of space, slight issue with major fluctuations in water when using the shower.
Welcome at reception just as it should be, well done, appreciated the young local lad who sprinted up the stairs with our bags.
No sign of any Eastern European workers in the hotel, all appeared to be from the local area, this made such a diference.
Food standard very good, service very good at both breakfast and dinners.
Will gladly return (if the lift is working).

I am pleased you enjoyed your stay at the hotel, and our apologises that the lift was out of order during your stay.
I am pleased to advise that the lift had major repair work carried out recently and is fully operational.
Our Wi Fi provision is also being upgraded at present.
We look forward to welcoming you back in the future, now I have a working lift and thank you for your kind comments about the staff and food at the hotel.

This hotel has a great location on the banks of the Cromarty Firth and within walking distance of Nairn Golf Club.

The rooms were good although ours had a distinct smell of dampness. I reported this and was offered a move but the view from the room was so good we decided to stay put.

The quality of the food in the restaurant is excellent, well presented and the service was well above average. Staff were helpful without being patronising.

Maybe needs some maintenance work but otherwise a very enjoyable stay.

We are glad you enjoyed stay with us.
The smell of dampness was caused by a leaking radiator pipe which has now been repaired.
We hope you will return to visit us again in the future and thank you for kind comments.
