Just returned from a 4 night break in the Golf View hotel - we thoroughly enjoyed our stay.
The location is wonderful - right next to the sea and a lovely walk by the beach at the back of the hotel. Lovely views from the conservatory and from the pool area - we did not have a sea view from our room though but ths was not a problem.
The hotel has an intimate and friendly feel - all the staff were extremely friendly and helpful.
We were really impressed with our room - large, comfortable and nicely decorated. There was a little bedroom off the main room with bunkbeds and another television, which was perfect for our 6 year old. The bathroom was large and modern and had a bath and separate shower cubicle.
We were on a half board package and had evening meals in the fine dining restaurant. The food was excellent - delicious and beautifully presented. The menu changed nightly, the selection each evening was great and the children's menu was also impressive. Breakfast was equally good and waiting staff were wonderful. The only (very minor) problem we had in the evenings was that we chose (as did most people) to have coffee after dinner in the lounge and on 2 occasions it did not arrive. We did not chase it up though, but had a very sleepy 6 year old, and couldn't wait any longer....Just returned from a 4 night break in the Golf View hotel - we thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

The pool area is also very nice - airy, light and modern with a lovely seating area where you can see the pool.
We used this as a base to explore the dolphin watching spots of the Moray Firth - Spey Bay, Chanonry Point and Fort George. It is also close to Culloden and about a 1 hour drive from Loch Ness.
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would definitely recommend this hotel.More
