We stayed for 2 nights and would have stayed longer if we could. Can't fault anything as it was superb, great place, location and path to the seafront. Nice walk into town too. Rooms were immaculate, breakfast could have fed an army, which was appropriate as we were visiting our son in Fort George.

We decided to stay here and not get in the middle of Inverness. While I would have preferred something north of Inverness (were driving to Scrabster the next morning meaning we needed to leave by 5am to catch the Ferry) both my wife and I are glad we made the choice to stay here. I'm pretty sure you won't find a better place to stay. Service was great, the view was spectacular and the location is close to all other things to do around Inverness.

We have stayed here four times in as many years and have enjoyed every stay. Kay and Douglas could not be more helpful and on this occasion travelling with a group of friends on a golfing trip, we were again impressed by the lengths to which they will go to make sure one's stay is an enjoyable one, as were our friends whom we had persuaded to use the Invernairne. While some of the rooms are a little dated, they are clean and comfortable and importantly good value for money. Try for the seaview rooms if available, as they are worth the small amount extra.

We stayed for one night as we were touring around Scotland and couldn't believe it when we turned into the car park. It's a lovely house overlooking the sea and a friendly welcome was given. Our room overlooked the sea, and was very spacious. There was a buffet breakfast with a wide choice available, Doug and Kay ensured that we had everything we wanted. Our table was in the window so we got to enjoy the garden and sea views over breakfast as well. Would definitely return if we were to visit Nairn again.

My wife especially enjoyed the magnificent views from our room. The small hotel is located right on the sea with the paved coatal boardwalk only 100 yards from the hotel. Our room was very quiet. There is ample parking on site. Our hosts were very friendly but not intrusive. They appear to be very busy running this small hotel. Rooms were very clean and quiet. The hotel is located within about a 10 minute walk of the center of town. It is nice to stay along the sea, but be convienent to town. The hotel has a bar for guests, but it appears only open on request during the early evening hours. Just the same, we were able to enjoy a drink in the comfortable bar overlooking the sea.

Location is excellent. We had the sea view room and it is awesome. Nothing like opening the window and falling asleep to the sounds of the sea. Kids beds were not as comfortable as the adult bed. Breakfast is excellent. Overall, very comfortable and recommend it.

Room Tip: Sea view room is recommended.

Superb location and excellent sized, clean bedroom accommodation with one of the best views in town.
Highly knowledgeable and friendly owner; no need for a Tourist Information Centre!
Breakfasts mainly pre-prepared, which was disappointing.

Room Tip: Rooms at the back of the hotel have excellent views across the Moray Firth.
