We stayed at the Braeval Hotel whilst on our recent charity motorcycle ride around Britain, The accommodation was first class, as was the Dining in the restaurant with an extensive menu.
Being Real ale lovers we really enjoyed ourselves in the well stocked Bar! even tried some of the multitude of whiskeys on offer.
Thank you for your warm welcome and attentive service, I would strongly reccomend this Hotel to fellow travellers.

Room Tip: there are some rooms with a sea view

I enjoyed a two night stay in the hotel when they had a mini beer festival. The hotel was busy and quite noisy, The bar food was excellent value on the first night whilst the fine dining experience in the Bandstand Restaurant was exceptional. The host and hostess and their staff worked hard to keep everyone happy and managed to do so. The hotel clientelle was a good mix from children to old age pensioners, and nobody was disappointed. The room was spotlessly clean and comfortable.
Breakfast was typically Scottish and of the highest quality. I thoroughly enjoyed the range of ales and also the whisky selection which hovered around the 75 choice mark. However, the lasting impression was of the great customer service afforded to all in this small hotel. Well worth a visit!

Room Tip: Higher floors have no noise from the bar

Thank you for your feedback. We're delighted you enjoyed your visit so much. The hotel was certainly livlier than normal due to the beer festival, but with a lovely crowd of friendly people. I hope you return to see us for our next beer festival in April.

Great little hotel, though if you think of I more in terms of Guest house, rather than international style hotel, your expectations will be right. Staff were very friendly, Breakfast isn't as varied as a bigger property would be but the quality was perfect (and I left stuffed every day!). We had two dinners in the restaurant, both great, though I preferred the seafood to meat courses. Bar lively and friendly. Spent three nights and felt very relaxed during th whole stay. Bed/mattress was firm without being hard and the bed linen were perfect, fresh and good quality. Perfect location in Nairn... Watching the ever changing weather over the beach, less than 5 mins walk to shops and 10 mins to train station.

We are a family run hotel and creating a friendly, relaxed atmophere is exactly what my husband, my staff and I try to achieve. I'm glad you enjoyed your visit. Thank you for letting us know about your experience and I hope to see you back at the Braeval in the future.

My Husband stayed in the Braeval whilst working close by and when looking for somewhere to stay for a weekend break together, he suggested that we book in as he had felt so welcomed and had enjoyed the delicious food and the great choice of ales and whiskeys on offer!. I was equally impressed with the Hotel and restaurant. We had excellent meals (Fish dishes great!) and really attentive, friendly service from both the owners and all their staff. Cosy, comfortable room enhanced by a beautiful view; this view shared with the restaurant. Altogether lovely. Thank you.

My husband and I stayed for four nights at the Braeval. This is a comfortable and friendly small hotel with an excellent restaurant, the Bandstand, with sea views and very good food (especially fish) and service. Breakfast also very good. No onsite parking but ample street parking. Staff helpful. There is an interesting range of beers and whiskies.

Room Tip: Ask for a quiet room away from the bar area

Found on laterooms and booked for a one night stopover in Nairn on business. Reviews were positive so gave it a go. Extremely welcoming young lad on check in. He actually engaged with me and made relevenat conversation - well trained in customer services! Very clean and tidy place, with a bed that was so comfy that I had my best night's sleep in ages! Enjoyed a few "real ales" from the bar and sat in the beer garden with my paper and pints enjoying the warm evening sun! Yes, it was warm and sunny!! Lovely breakfast next morning, all freshly cooked and tasty! Would definately go back and would certainly recommend!

Great beers, great malts, great food, efficient friendly staff and a lovely comfortable room with spectacular sea view - what more could you ask for!! The four in our group agreed it was the best small hotel we have ever stayed.

Room Tip: Sea view room just caps a great all round experience.
