Was looking for something different as fed up with usual routine of Chinese or Indian so did a google search and found this gem of a place don't be put off by the entrance as once inside we were made to feel welcome and felt really relaxed the food was superb and very well priced the drink was very reasonably priced an excellent experience with lovely staff and owner

£12.50 for an all you can eat evening - excellent value for money! Courses were a mixed plate of starters, garlic goats cheese bread, a mixed plate of mains tea and coffees and 3 different desserts! Lovely big restaurant with a really relaxed atmosphere. The only criticism I have is that the waitresses were too keen to take our plates away before we had finished eating. Other than that, excellent service!

Look out for Xoriatiki in the High Street by its advertising board on the pavement, otherwise you may miss it - it is down a lane and up a flight of stairs. It's not really all that Greek in looks and décor. It's not modern. I suppose it's comfy and unpretentious. I was there for the buffet lunch, so don't take this as a review of evening service. The buffet was £6.50 per head, and that's what it tasted like. It was an odd Scottish-Greek assortment (e.g., mashed potatoes and moussaka), but it was plentiful. There was soup with bread, several meaty mains, Greek side salad, and puddings. As a vegetarian, it was one for the feta lover - I had feta salad with tzatziki and pitta bread; feta fried in breadcrumbs; feta and spinach pancakes ..... and chips with NO feta. There were no added extras - the waiting staff did not press you to buy alcoholic drinks or coffees. It wasn't gourmet, but at £6.50 for an abundance of filling, feta-featured food (sorry, I had to get in an alliteration!), what's to complain about?

The food is dry and tactless, not like in Greece at all, and the staff are untrained and either not willing to speak or ignorant.
