We stayed in Elgin at Moray Bank B&B for two nights in Scotland as a base to see the town and Speyside. The home is on a quiet and upscale street on the edge of the central part of downtown Elgin, walkable to most points in town including the Cathedral and even Glen Moray distillery. As alluded to by the name the home was formerly the Moray Bank building designed by Alexander and William Reed in 1845. The rooms were comfortable, conservatively designed and well maintained. Our room overlooked the front gardens. The home also had parking in back and a back yard. Our host was professional, welcoming and helpful but unobtrusive and we had a quiet stay and excellent breakfast. We would definitely stay there again when in Speyside.
