Me and my wife stayed here for 3 nights and can truly say we had a great stay, Zofia your host is most welcoming and the building and furnishings are first class, big rooms en-suite with tv and tea and coffee and a good choice for breakfast, full English was my daily choice with cereals and fruit juices. A great location for Elgin high street 5 mins walk with numerous bars and restaurants dotted around. We will definetly be visiting again in the near future

Arriving at this beautiful Victorian building situated next to a lovely old church is impressive but when the door is opened by Zophia, our landlady, the interior is even nicer.

A very warm welcome from Zophia and off to the rooms.

Both rooms were decorated to a very high standard and with impeccable taste and it is clear that this house is cared for with passion.

I had the double-room with en-suite bathroom, again luxurious. My colleague had the adjacent twin-room that used the shower-room a few steps along the landing.

The Moray Bank is a five minute walk to the centre of town where there are some lovely pubs and restaurants.

The double-bed was very nice and extremely comfortable.

Breakfast in the Moray Bank was superb and with a wide choice of cooked food as well as cereals made a good start to our day.

Free WiFi made it easy for us to stay in touch with work and family.

I would happily stay here again and eagerly recommend it to my friends.

Smashing wee place. In a quiet street, but only 5 mins walk from town centre so nice and easy to walk in if you want to go for dinner in the evening. Parking round back of house, but on street parking nearby too. Needed somewhere quiet on the Sunday after getting married the day before - Zofia is an unintrusive and very friendly host. Managed to leave a bag of toiletries in the room, but phoned Zofia and she posted it down to Glasgow for us. Really comfy bed too. Oh, and free WiFi. Ace. Can't see me being back in Elgin any time soon as about to emigrate to the US, but if I am, I'll come back here.

An outstanding B&B! This home is beautifully decorated and comfortable in every respect. My first reaction upon our arrival was that we had stepped into a 19th century estate! Zophia was a wonderful host, engaging in conversation and helpful in answering our questions about the Elgin and Lossiemouth communities. Breakfast was delicious with a wide selection including juice, yogurt, fruit, cereal and cooked courses available. We stayed for two days, but Moray Bank would be ideal for longer stays. It is located within a short walk of the Elgin rail station, downtown, the stunning ruins of the historic Elgin Cathedral and the Moray archives (for those conducting family research). One need not search any further than Moray Bank as the B&B to be your home while staying in the Elgin area. Recommended without hesitation.

I found this B&B in the Internet and booked a twin room for 3 nights. The house, the rooms, the breakfast room were very clean and nicely decorated, in comparison to the double bedrooms is the twin bedroom smaller. Everything was spotless, Zofia is a very warm and welcoming landlady, she gave us good tips concerning interesting spots to see, also the pub Torr House around the corner was recommended by Zofia, the food was outstanding.
Elgin itself is not that pleasant, rather boring, but the sourrounding area very interesting and there is lots to see, castles, whiskey dest., shores.
Just because of the Moray Bank B&B Elgin is worth a visit.

We stayed at Moray Bank B&B for two nights during a 3 week trip to the UK. The location was great; we could walk to the town center quite easily as well as pop over to the Cathedral. Our room was spacious, comfortable, and overlooked the front garden. Breakfast was excellent with generous portions. Our hostess was helpful, kind, and helped make our time in Elgin a delightful experience. Should I ever be back in Elgin, Moray Bank is where I would stay.

We stayed in Elgin at Moray Bank B&B for two nights in Scotland as a base to see the town and Speyside. The home is on a quiet and upscale street on the edge of the central part of downtown Elgin, walkable to most points in town including the Cathedral and even Glen Moray distillery. As alluded to by the name the home was formerly the Moray Bank building designed by Alexander and William Reed in 1845. The rooms were comfortable, conservatively designed and well maintained. Our room overlooked the front gardens. The home also had parking in back and a back yard. Our host was professional, welcoming and helpful but unobtrusive and we had a quiet stay and excellent breakfast. We would definitely stay there again when in Speyside.
