We came to this B & B after a recent visit to Scotland.

The B & B was comfortable and was very quaint and traditional and designed to look old fashioned including our room with a four poster bed.

This B & B is ideally located for all areas of Elgin and is in walking distance of the centre of the town.

Very nice building and very attentive host.

Room was adequate and decorated in keeping with the building. Nice comfy double bed, freeview tv, wifi, nice ensuite, tea/coffee facilities. Breakfast was very good, choice of cooked or cereals etc.

Nice and easy to walk into shops/town from hotel. Took maybe 10 minutes maximum but a very easy walk.

Parking available.

Everything positive that needs to be said, has been stated. Excellent 5 star B&B, with a great price. We only could stay one night but that was a great night for sure. Beautiful home, great hosts and a pleasant, restfull stay.

I have stayed at the Pines guest house with work many times and I love it. Charles and Helen make me feel very welcome & are great hosts. The beds are so comfy and give a great nights sleep! The rooms are very clean and homely and easy to relax in- unlike generic hotel rooms. Hospitality tray is fantastic. The breakfast is always served with a warm smile and a bit of chat and always freshly prepared and delicious. The fresh fruit on offer really makes the breakfast a treat! I would recommend the pines to any family or couple but if you are staying on your own like me it is perfect!- a home away from home!

Room Tip: I personally love room 1 and room 5 because they are so homely!

Wow on arrival we were greeted by a stunning piece of Victorian architecture and a warm welcome from the owners. We were shown to our fabulous rooms which were exquisitely furnished and had a lovely hospitality tray. The attention to detail was lovely for example cotton wool, ear buds, shampoo/conditioner and body wash all being provided in the bathroom. The bedding looked beautiful and it definitely made me have a wonderful night’s sleep. The breakfast was also delicious and the black pudding was scrumptious. We will definitely be returning to The Pines.
