We stayed for 2 nights at the start of our tour round Scotland.
We were made very welcome when we arrived in heavy rain.
The standard of furnishing and cleanliness was first class.
Breakfast was delicious and the owners were attentive and friendly.
Close to the city centre and a great base for visiting the local area and attractions.
We are staying again on our way back South and are looking forward to it very much.

Lovely warm welcome from the owners...
Rooms very comfortable.
Only downside, we had to leave early, before breakfast..!!!! :-(
However, owner said she would prepare breakfast early for us... but , as we were leaving at 05:00 hrs, we declined her kind offer..!!!
When next in Perth we will certainly return to the Beechgrove...

With wonderful memories of last year's stay in Perth, we were looking very forward to returning to Beechgrove, this time accompanied by a friend who we hoped would enjoy this short stay as much as we did. Fortunately we were not disappointed, the beautiful house itself, the location, and the warm and welcoming hosts made our stay a lovely experience. The only downside was that we were only able to book in for three nights rather than the four we had hoped for - must book earlier next time. Thank you Anne and David for your hospitality and recommendations of places to see and places to eat. Our meal at Pig'halle was absolutely delicious!

My husband and I stayed for one night midweek.
We were warmly welcomed by Anne and shown to our room. Anne also recommended a few restaurants we could try in the town for dinner. The room was fab. Very well maintained and very clean, with tea and coffee making facilities and free wi-fi. It's a stunning building surrounded by beautiful gardens.
Thoroughly enjoyed our cooked breakfast in the morning served by David, who chatted to everyone making us feel welcome and valued. You can also help yourself to an array of cereals and fruit too.
We didn't meet the dogs. Maybe next time! =)

My partner and I were going to a wedding and had booked this accommodation some months ago.
Explained it would be helpful if we could get early access to change and freshen up -owners could not have been more helpful and accommodating -room ready very early in day for us -fresh milk in room for tea/coffee -room an en suite spotless.

Friendly welcoming approach for breakfast on Sunday with a beautifully cooked breakfast with all the usual choices of cereals fresh fruit and porridge.

Perfect in every way -the owners deserve every success and found out we had some common interests as I live in the same village as one of the owners -a small world

This was worthy of six stars -incredibly good value-thank you

Beechgrove is a well maintained clean and comfortable house with a high standard of furnishing throughout. The hosts are friendly , helpful and keen for you to enjoy your stay. They are knowledgeable about the area and are happy to advise on trips and eating out. Perth is a good centre to see castles and the coast.

Beechgrove is conveniently situated just over South Street Bridge in Perth and so about five minutes walk to restaurants and shops. The house seems to be an old manse(didn't ask); certainly it is sightly grand with lots of original features. Decoration and furnishings are delightful throughout. David and Annie are wonderful hosts -charming and friendly, and they run a very tight ship indeed. Our bedroom was lovely with the most comfortable bed, quality linens and again super decorative features. Breakfast was fun. There was lots of choice (all delicious), with presentation also being a key feature, from tableware to actual food on the plate. David in the role of 'mine host' was a hoot, with slightly sardonic asides and mock admonishments. He was VERY caring, and with Annie producing all the lovely food -as well as finding time to chat and make one feel welcome - they made/make a great team. If you are visiting Perth stop looking, Beechgrove's the place to stay. Super!
