My Husband & I spent a night at Ardfern on 1st December 2012 we had the double room with en-suite, our room was spotless & bed was comfortable. Room had everything you would want & more, breakfast was first class, really nice & welcoming couple. Real log fire very welcoming on a cold night, very homely & also a 10mins walk from city centre. What more could you want, we would definitely stay again.

We spent one night here on our junket from Edinburgh to Blair Atholl and then west to the central highlands. Wilma Murray and her husband Bob were wonderful hosts. The house is lovely, the beds are great, and it would have been nice to stay longer. Breakfast was excellent. Being able to park at Ardfern was great, and although it is right on the main road, there was NO road noise. We would certainly recommend, and would come back.

Stayed at this B&B in October 2012 with my husband for 2 nights. Very friendly and spotless, room was excellent with en suite shower. Breakfast was excellent and Mrs Murray was lovely warm and very hospitable, I would definitely recommend this B&B to any one and we will be back if we return to Perth.

We stayed there for 2 nights and enjoyed it very much. Very clean, parking space on the ground, great breakfast, quiet although it's situated on a main road, city center in walking distance - would choose it again

I stayed at the Ardfern Guest House with my baby son for one night last month. The B&B is on a busy road and my room was at the front but the traffic noise did not bother me at all. We had a twin room which was nice and clean and a travel cot was provided. The room had a sink but no en-suite facilities. This was not really a problem as the bathroom was very close and I don't think it was used by the other rooms. The guest living room was lovely. We had a delicious breakfast - I had to bring in my own high chair for my son which was OK but it would be nice if they could provide one. The chocolate biscuits and sweets in the room were a nice touch! The owners were so welcoming and really friendly. I would thoroughly recommend staying here - great value for money.

This is without doubt the finest B&B we have stayed in. Everything utterly spotless and immaculately decorated and furnished, the en-suite was positively luxurious! As has been remarked, the bus stop couldn't be closer but the City is walkable. Lots of traffic early evening and first thing but quiet at night. Lovely hostess and helper, breakfast was almost indescribably good and all for £60 for two!!

5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 14 April 2012

This B&B is neater than a pin! It was impeccably clean from the common areas right down to our individual room and bath. The bus stop is virtually right across the stree, though walking to town takes maybe 10 mionutes or so. The breakfasts were great and there is absolutely no reason anyone wouold walk away hungry. The only areas which I would have liked a change were in the shower/bathroom having space for our toiletries and the bed being rather small for 2 people. Of course, we may be spolied too by our king sized bed!
