We, a family of four with adult children, enjoyed a great meal in the pleasant pub that is part of the Moulin Hotel in Moulin near Pitlochry, Scotland. The various dishes we chose were all very good. Specifically the fish served with the traditional fish and chips dish was very tasty and the portions generous. And that was not all, the home brewed beer, Ale of Atholl, Braveheart, made us thirsty for more. Last but not least, the ambiance was as great as it should be in a pub. We can but recommend the Moulin Pub.

We had a late lunch so restaurant was not full but still welcoming. I would really recommend the lamb shank it was gorgeous. Thought it was really good value and good variety on the menu. Service was good and friendly. Would recommend and re visit.

I would recommend trying lamb or rabbit - beautifully cooked and a real pleasure to taste.

Good selection of alcohols. Friendly staff and nice atmosphere.

Worth trying :)

Food was ok could do with having more house wine as there weren't any Carafe's available at all and we were there at 6. Their own ale tasted good though and the ambience although looking a bit run down was cheery and genuine. Staff were pleasant and helpful.

Great meals and friendly service. Low beams and log fires gave an authentic feel. Good value home made food including haggis (meat and vegetarian version).
