We stayed one night on way north, would have happily stayed longer! Perfect setting, spotless and very comfortable. Gill made us feel extremely welcome. Loved the feeling of independence by having own entrance and although very homely did not feel like we were intruding on owner's space. Would definitely choose Rowanlea again if we venture that way.

We have been staying at Rowanlea for the Pitlochry Golf Week in June for several years. Every year we say how lucky we were to find this wonderful B&B. The rooms are beautifully appointed with lovely bathrooms and plenty of HOT soft highland water. Jill cooks a great breakfast with plenty on offer from her menu.
Well worth booking if you plan to spend any time in the Pitlochry area of the Highlands

Room Tip: There are only two and they are both brilliant.

This was our 2nd visit and just as good as the first. Gill is one of the loveliest ladies you could meet who goes out of her way to make your stay excellent. The whole place is spotless and the breakfast first class. The room was spacious with a lovely sitting area outside looking towards the hills which was perfect for the summer nights. The 3 nights were perfect and a great base for touring around. Gill takes such an interest in what you do each day and has plenty of ideas if you are stuck . There's a great selection of DVDs if it's a rainy night and you just want to relax. This place is in my top 5 of places to stay. Fingers crossed we get back soon.

Stayed at Rowanlea for 2 weeks and every day was a pleasure! Gill is a lovely, attentive host who always makes us feel welcome. I cannot imagine ever going to the Highlands without staying at Rowanlea B&B! Superb service and delicious breakfast. The location is great, since it's a short walk to the city as well as some beautiful walking/hiking paths. We also enjoy the included discount to the Golf Restaurant, which is very close by.

All in all, if you're going to Pitlochry, do yourself a favor and call up Gill ;) You won't regret it.

Room Tip: Both rooms are great, though I prefer the McCabe room because it has a bath tub ;)

Just spent two nights here and it was perfect. Wonderfully located a short walk from the town. Very peaceful, clean and comfortable. The room was contemporary, with a leather sofa and large bed.
Jilly is friendly and welcoming. Breakfast was delicious. A winner in this neck of the woods.
