Fantastic scenery and just a short drive from Pitlochry. The views are breathtaking and the path is suitable for everybody.

What a view - stunning! Car park was free as it was still "Winter" as far as the car park Pay & Display machines were concerned (it was actually the 20th June!!) Cafe and shop were closed which was a shame as they would do good business I am sure. In any case, the view was worth it anyway! Well worth stopping off after a visit to Pitlochry

We visit pitlochry nearly every year and always drive up to queens view. Last year the forestry shop was closing to allow for change, the coffee shop was changing places with the souvenier shop, whicbh should have been open in april 2014. We have just returnd after our weeks holiday, visiting queens view for the very last time as we were very unimpressed with the facilities there, coffee shop still closed, shop, if you can call it that, boring, and worst of all after driving from pitlochry to get there, even though its not very far, no toilet facilities. Maybe a sign at the garry river bridge informing visitors that nothing was open except a boring miserable empty small office and a view, which if you have seen it on a number of occasions before would not be enough to invite a visitor up there, visitors want small keepsakes and souveniers to take home not just go fo coffee! The old shop was much more interesting and could have also been improved on ie souvenier wise, proper scottish goods and less cheap rubbish. This is another place that has changed in scotland...... for the worse sadly, we will not be back and I wonder how many others will dothe same !

A lovely drive through the countryside as you progress down the Tummel Valley brings you to The Queen's View. When we called the tourist centre was suprisingly closed, but the view is unforgettable. Do continue to follow the lovely road after your visit but do watch out for the big tourist coaches.

The Queen's View is a stunningly beautiful viewpoint, well worth a visit and a camera must be on hand! It's along a winding single track road so you do have to take your time in places and is only a short walk from the car park. Improvements have been made at the viewpoint and one of the quirkiest things I saw were the small animals on the ironwork. It was really smart. The visitor centre is seasonal so bear that in mind if you're going off season. If you're holidaying in Pitlochry, then it's a must on your holiday list. There is a £2 charge for parking your car and there are toilets which like the shop are seasonal.
