Living locally, we always drive out to try new places for coffee, etc so we can advise visitors where to go. The view is still (and always will be) stunning no matter the season but the new visitor centre is very disappointing. Shop is poor though staff were nice. Cafe is now just like any motorway service station with a bit of history round it. Staff have obviously not been trained in how to look after customers properly and health/hygiene issues have not been taught. eg how to hold crockery/cutlery when serving customers. On our exit, heard elderly customers stating nice young staff who had not been properly trained. Such a shame that the old cafe style was not kept as it was more in keeping with its surroundings Will certainly recommend here for the wonderful view but not for a coffee stop.

I had never been to Queen's View but it was a trip down memory lane for my husband who had visited about 30 years ago. Stunning view and definitely God's craftmanship at its very best. Unfortunately the Visitor Centre was still not open but that meant parking was free. Be aware that it is a narrow winding drive up so watch out for the locals who tend to go a little faster than feels safe, but worth it when you reach that view made famous by Queen Victoria and Robert the Bruce's wife - Queen Isabella. Beautiful. Nothing else to say......

If it's a clear day, the views are breathtaking, well worth a quick stop and a look round the visitor centre.
