We visited The Queen's View while staying in Pitlochry and are so pleased we did. The panoramic view is breathtaking and there is also a very nice visitor centre with café. We can highly recommend this. The £2 car parking is a bit steep if you have only visited for the view but not so bad if you are walking from there and staying longer.

The short walk up to queens view is easy and the view is spectacular. You can see Loch Tunnel and the Glencoe Mountains in the distance.

Words cannot express how beautiful the view is... you can easily see why Queen Victoria was so taken with this spot, and it would be a shame to miss this if you're in the area. Not far out of the way at all.

New cafe opened - 2 pounds to park - only all day fee or a fine! Then £1.85 for a can of lemon juice. Seats outside though (if it is nice weather). View is great, try and get there when there isn't a coach party though, also the drive around Loch Tummel from Pitlochry is also worth doing with viewpoints along the tranquil loch. On the way there is a free car park with a lovely view from the Garry bridge where bungee jumpers fling themselves from a special cage under the bridge, so don't worry about the screaming...
