We have just returned from a short break at the Green Park, our first time at this lovely hotel. A most enjoyable stay with first class service at all times. A little more expensive than other local hotels but well worth it. We are already looking forward to our next visit.

Dear CornhillScotland,

Thank you very much for trying out the Green Park for the first time, and for following up with your review. Your kind comments are much appreciated. Did you manage to fight your way through the crowds at the House of Bruar Sale? Many of our guests are old hands when it comes to the H.O.B. Sale, and those in the know say that it is best to lead with your elbows. I prefer the more cowardly male option of not going in the first place!

Thank you once again for joining us for a short break, and we look forward to welcoming you both again in the future.

Best regards,

Alistair ( McMenemie )

Have visited this hotel on regular occasions and it never fails to please. The quality of food, service and accommodation can not be bettered. Whilst on the face of it not cheap, when one includes morning coffee, afternoon tea and sherry before dinner within the overall price then it really is terrific value for money. The Green Park also has one of the most comprehensive yet cheapest wine lists I have seen anywhere. Bedrooms are large and beautifully furnished and the owners never stop looking for ways to improve the property. A hotel best suited for the more mature in age is set in a most magnificent location and oozes relaxation in bucketloads.

Room Tip: Although all rooms are excellent ask for room in annexe on first floor if possible to take advantage of best view.

Dear micwPrestwick,

Glad to read that your peace and tranquility levels have been restored, and that you can go forward suitably refreshed.

Here we are girding our loins for Marion Hill and her Bridge Break ladies. A more formidable group of the opposite sex I have never met, and they take no prisoners when it comes to bidding wars. That said, Marion runs a tight ship, and there have been no reports of gunfire at the Green Park for at least two of her most recent breaks. May the last woman standing be declared this seasons champion!

Thank you once again for your lovely review and continued support of the Green Park.

Best regards,

Dear maureen g

We hope that you had a safe and pleasant journey back south to Birmingham, after your wee break at the Green Park.

Our luck with e weather continues to hold, and believe it our not, many trees are still holding on to their autumn colours. If only they could do so until next spring - now that would be a tourist initiative we could all get behind!

Thanks for the lovely review.

Stayed here for a long weekend with my elderly parents. Impossible to find fault with any aspect if our stay. Exceptionally friendly and amazingly good service. Breakfast menu extremely good and nice dinner menus. Lovely place to stay and no surprise that most people seem to come back!

Dear stewart162,

Glad to read that you and your parents were able to join us here, at Pitlochry and the Green Park Hotel.

Did you all manage to catch the last few performances of Arsenic and Old Lace? We managed to squeeze in for the last Saturday performance, and all three generations of my family enjoyed the show - though Megan was initially bribed with two tubs of Orkney's finest vanilla.

Tickets seem to be selling well for "White Christmas", so I might need to up the anti to three tubs for the next family outing.

Thanks for posting such a nice review and we look forward to welcoming you all again to the Green Park.

Best regards,

Alistair ( McMenemie )

Arrived home today after spending a fantastic two night break here. We were a party of 5 who had 3 rooms booked.
Rooms
All rooms allocated to us were well appointed. The rooms were beautifully furnished and had everything that you could want or need. A Tea and Coffee Tray was provided in each room along with Strathmore Mineral Water. The Bathroom had a selection of complimentary toiletries available for use.
Public Areas/Restaurant
The public areas were always warm and comfortable. Tea/Coffee and biscuits were provided free of charge each morning after breakfast. Lunch was available at an extra charge. Afternoon tea/cakes were provided free of charge each afternoon. Prior to dinner you were offered either a sherry or soft drink again free of charge. Dinner had a lovely choice each evening.
Management/Staff
The management and staff were pleasant and couldn't do enough to help you.

All in all a very well run hotel and we wouldn't hesitate to return.

Room Tip: Ask for a room overlooking Loch Fascally.

Dear Tenerifegirlatheart,

Many thanks for your recent stay with us at the Green Park, and glad to read that all five of you had an enjoyable two night break. Your kind comments are much appreciated, and give a real boost to us all.

Here at Pitlochry the Festival Theatre have just finished their very popular run of "Arsenic and Old Lace", and they are now gearing up for their first go at "White Christmas". Our mole across the water at the theatre tells us that ticket sales are very encouraging, and that such a winter performance could become a regular feature if 2012 is successful. Fingers crossed.

Thank you once again for the review, and best best regards to you.
